Crackdown

No sequel to Crackdown?

Not from original developer, claims US mag

Now this we don't like the sound of. According to the rumour column of US magazine Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM), a sequel to the awesome but short Crackdown will not be happening any time in the near future. Nor will it likely happen with the same developer, if it ever happens.

EGM (via 1up) writes: "A Crackdown sequel looks like it won't happen any time soon. Sure, Microsoft has danced around the idea of making another addictive orb-hunting shooter, but Q-mann says even if Crackdown 2 does come to fruition, original developer Realtime Worlds probably won't be making it. Well, at least Realtime Worlds' upcoming game, APB, looks like it will keep our minds off those damn orbs... for now."
