If you're a fan of the Xbox 360's Platinum Hits line up, then you'll be glad to hear that four more games will soon be added to that list.

The 360 has a fair selection of Mech games, with Chromehounds already out and Lost Planet available in some regions already, and most by the end of January 2007. Still, considering the need to drive the 360 in Japan and the fact that most gamers like giant machines with guns on them that remind them of transformers a new mech game is not a bad thing. Armored Core 4 was announced for the 360 a while ago, but only now do we have an official release date of March 22nd 2007 for the game.
Third Wave Games' War World is looking all set for release on Xbox Live Arcade within the next six months we've been told this morning. This stompy robot Chromehounds in miniature PC game looks like being a sure-fire winner for the Live Arcade format. Third Wave are currently hard at work trimming the game to meet the 50MB Arcade limit and tweaking the graphics and gameplay to match the Xbox 360's capabilities.

SEGA's brand-spankin' new mech title Chromehounds ( is already getting a downloadable pack on the Xbox Live Marketplace according to a SEGA site mod at the official site. It should be available on Marketplace on July 19.
