Blazing Angels sequel confirmed for PS3

Latest Ubisoft release schedule reveals simultaneous release with PC and 360 outings

Ubisoft's Blazing Angels: Secret Missions is winging its way to PS3 in addition to Xbox 360 and PC.

The latest release schedule from the publisher confirms that the aerial combat sequel will release simultaneously on Sony's console alongside the previously announced versions on August 31.

Secret Missions is set during World War II, but this time around things focus on experimental technology in development toward the end of the conflict. You play an Allied pilot with access to experimental aircraft and weaponry, who is leading his squad in an attack on experimental weapons being developed by the Third Reich.

The game's being built on a brand new engine and features new multiplayer modes capture the flag and epic battle, the latter mode finding two teams fighting in a large-scale battle with conquerable bases and objectives that can be destroyed in order to gain the upper hand on the opponent.
