Planet Battlefield writes: "If you take a look over on the official Battlefield: Bad Company website you'll notice DICE have launched a brand new "My Soldier" page displaying player stats for the demo and eventually the full game. Once you login to your EA account you can link your Xbox gamertag or Playstation ID and within a couple minutes your stats will be displayed. A lot of information is shown even all the requirements for all those nifty trophies, wildcards, patches, and even multiplayer achievements.

One thing I never noticed on the BFBC site is that the pin on the smiley grenade in the left can be pulled. Try it out for yourself :-)"

What he noticed was that the PLAYSTATION 3 requires 300MB of space while the Xbox 360 version requires 2MB of space. He got these box shots from the PS3 and 360 pages for the game on GameStop.com. Console Monster writes: "Remember the Battlefield: Bad Company demo confusion? Well it seems us British folks can also get our hands on the demo early. Our good friends at Play.com are giving away "an exclusive code to download the demo from Xbox LIVE Marketplace (Gold Membership required)" if you pre-order before midnight on Sunday 1st June. The codes will be sent to you on Monday for you to redeem and be playing away before the release of the demo on Thursday 5th June.

Pre-ordering from Play.com will also gain you "an exclusive code to unlock the 'QBU-88' gun for multiplayer mode from the start of the game," rather than working your way through the ranks. The full retail version of Battlefield: Bad Company will be released on the 27th June."

With the codes over at PlanetBattlefield.com being all used up the guys over at PX360 just got a couple download codes for the upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company demo that is launching to the public via Xbox Live and the Playstation Network on June 5th, 2008; these codes will allow you to download the demo as of right this moment, a full week before everyone else gets a chance to play. Speaking to videogaming247, DICE producer Jamie Keen has said that the EA developer was taken aback by the fierce reaction to plans to charge for weapons in Battlefield: Bad Company, but that listening to the community is paramount for those working on the franchise.

"We were slightly surprised by the strength of the reaction," he said.

"Charged downloadable content is becoming more prevalent throughout gaming, but it's important for us to be able to react to people's wishes and desires. There was a very strong reaction to it.

"For a game like Battlefield, where we've had a very strong online presence, and traditionally we've had very strong communications with the community, it's important for us to be able to react to people. And yeah, we have to listen to people."

We are happy to announce that Conquest will see its inclusion in Battlefield: Bad Company post launch, available as a free download on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Beta feedback has shown that there is a great desire for Conquest mode in Battlefield: Bad Company, alongside the much appreciated Gold Rush mode, and when the full game is done the team in Stockholm will start working on Conquest. More details are to come on the release, so stay tuned!

In Conquest mode, the aim is to reduce the opposing team's tickets to zero. Killing an enemy soldier depletes one ticket per kill, whilst capturing control points on the map causes enemy tickets to count down. The game mode was hugely popular in games like Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 and we look forward to seeing everyone enjoying Conquest, as well as Gold Rush, in this summer's blockbuster shooter ¿ Battlefield: Bad Company."
