It’s no secret we loved the first Assassin’s Creed – maybe even a little too much. Climbing up impossibly tall structures and stealthily murdering Templar knights during the sharply realized Crusades was so much fun, we accepted certain flaws – like the repetitive side-tasks you had to undertake before each assassination mission could be unlocked, or the way the game sent you back to your home fortress after each successful takedown – as minor irritations. ...

We made no secret about our love for the original Assassin’s Creed. We scored it glowingly, took some flak from you guys, and stood proudly by our 10 like a Christ-like figure up against an inquisition of haters. Okay, perhaps that’s a bit much. ...

Part Agent 47, part Dark Knight, all merciless murdering
Sep 24, 2009
The first Assassin’s Creed was an incredible sensory experience. So you’ll be glad to know the slack-jawed awe that comes with staring at massive cityscapes from a lofty tower is back with a vengeance. Better yet, from our hands-on with the upcoming Tokyo Game Show demo, it’s clear Ubisoft Montreal has really been working on the assassinations. ...

@wwfls2 dude your questions may be answered by checking out UPlay. Its a Ubisoft thing that you have to register for and gives you xtra special content. just a thought. i don't have it myself yet but it could be the answer.
I love this game. I loved the first one too and couldn't understand why people had gripes with it. The brilliance of this IP, in my opinion, is the level technical detail paid to the authenticity to the cities. I feel like I've been transported to these actual places in space and time. Swordplay combat is fun and finishing moves are very satisfying. I never thought I'd like a game like this. AC 2 adds a meaty and compelling story with a protagonist that you can care about and identify with. I whole-heartedly agree with Mikel's review score and I haven't even finished the game yet!
dude in my DNA when im in the secret location section it shows 9memories(4 i cannot access) so i was wondering that SECRET LOCATION does not specificly mean ASSASSIN TOMB. So also in my maps legendary thers another Icon called TEMPLAR'S LAIR which I think are HIDDEN (not like assassin tombs that show up on ur map). So templar lairs might be a hidden ingame extra play cuz i never saw it on my map does anyone know anything about that.
original comment: BlindGuardian412: just an error i noticed (maybe), but i thought it was Altair's ring finger that was cut off
This isn't altair, this is Ezio Auditore de blablabla; his name is a mouthful.
Please let there be an online game where you a couple people chase a guy trying to kill him before he reaches the destination. There could be lots of rounds so everyone gets a chance to be the runner. Hey GR guys, mention that to the Developers if you get a chance.
