WoW sells pet for Japan relief

While the quake and tsunami that hit Japan in March has faded from the news cycle, many of the disaster's victims are still struggling. Blizzard hasn't forgotten. 100% of the proceeds from the newest critter in the WoW pet store, the Cenarion Hatchling, will go to the  American Red Cross's Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief effort.

This particular pet is a twin of the rare Hippogryph Hatchling pet that players could obtain in the World of Warcraft collectible card game. However, you won't have to spend hundreds of dollars on cardboard in order to procure the Cenarion- the $10 adoption fee will suffice.

If they made another cocaine horse they could probably bail out the current economic recession.

@BadLadJon May seem little cheap but something for a good cause is better then nothing for a good cause.

@badlad dont 'think' its a TBC pet since some of card expansions didn't line up originally Now only if blizz did this with the wish foundation instead of 50%

I think what people don't realise is that if this is in line with how much wow pets usually sell for, this will generate millions for Japan. Good for Blizzard, and that's coming from someone who most certainly is not a wow fan...
