If you want to see just how powerful the next-gen consoles are then just check out the shine on the balls of World Snooker Championship 2007 which will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 (and PS2) this September - we've never seen snooker balls so smooth and round!

The 2007 edition of the Blade Interactive snooker sim will have 104 of the world's best snooker players all realistically recreated for you to play as and against. It will also have a comprehensive pool experience with both nine and eight-ball competitions in which to compete.

There's also a Golden Cue challenge where you can take on the greats from the snooker world in a series of cue based challenges.
