World in Conflict looks nice. It's hopefully going to do for the modern-day RTS what Company of Heroes did for WWII-era RTS action - and this new vid shows off some of the game's impressive DirectX 10 features. Like clouds, smoke and light from God's fingertips.
We're serious. Fortunately, with words like volumetric being tossed around, there's a developer on hand to talk us through the deformation technology and other effects used in World of Conflict. Enjoy.
