I'm primarily a PC gamer, but I'm glad this is getting a 360 release so more people can enjoy it, it's a great game! Still look fantastic even on console.

    Spread the love, brother!

The amount of praise I've heard for this game is ridiculous. I'd really like to get it but there is a slight problem on that front... I have a job. There is no way I'd have the time to invest in such a huge world these days. Real life sucks.

Well, I've still got school to go to, but, feh, it's not like I need an education or anything. I'm making a mental decision now that as long as I finish The Witcher, I don't give a crap if I need to resort to prostituting myself to stay alive. Hell, I might just do that even if i DON'T get the game.

Well, the second game is surprisingly short, but it's still an RPG. Expect 20, maybe 25-ish (with new quests) hours for a single playthrough.

I can't wait! Too bad the website (buy.thewitcher.com) says its all out of the most premium editions. Still, it is going to be awesome!

I hate all the arguments going on in the gaming community between PC gamers and console gamers, not only for this game, but for anything that gets ported or has a multi-platform release. Not necessarily on this site, but I'm sick of all the fanboy bullshit. I am a console gamer, mostly because it's less expensive and I'm able to enjoy my other hobbies as well. If I had the money, I would absolutely have a nice PC rig, but I don't. $800 is a pretty decent chunk of change for me with college loans, car payments, etc. as it is for a lot of people in this country, so don't give me shit for not having a console and wanting to enjoy what you have already been able to unless you would like to put your money where your mouth is and buy me a PC. To put it bluntly, I think all the fanboys, PC and console (PS3 and Xbox) alike, need to sit down, shut up, and enjoy the games instead of complaining whenever someone else gets to enjoy something great. Also, I am very aware these pointless arguments have been going on for years. Having mentioned PS3 games, I did find it somewhat surprising that they didn't port it there as well, but not too much since a lot of PS3 games tend to be pretty buggy. Not all, but a lot. There's my two-cents for the day.

Yet you ignore us pc guys who get -gimped- sequels to our favorite older titles because of consoles. Titles like BF3 having less depth and less tactics (and no modding); the plague that is DLC; Many titles having core features GONE; Keybindings locked to generic keys, all thanks in part to "consolitis".

I hope this isn't another series that gets bastardized and held because because it's not longer PC exclusive.

I like it when GamesRadar gives me reasons why certain games should be on my radar. It's just so fitting in the most satisfying way.

I've actually been wanting to play this since I read the review on GR a while back, but sadly, at that time, it was only a pc game so I could only read about it. It will more than likely going to be my next game purchase, but I am going to wait for some reviews first. I also want to see if there are any bugs that would deter it from actually being a great game. Having said that, if all goes well, I'll be purchasing it in the first week.

  • lazer59882 - April 5, 2012 4 p.m.

duuuude i agree completely i was just about to read it on my iphone then saw the format and was like fuuuuuuuck so i just grabbed my computer. but seriously GR, if you're not gonna make a mobile version of the site, at least make the regular one usable on phones. as it is now its fucking impossible

I'll be getting this of for the xbox, even though I recently got it for the PC. I am an achievement hound, plus I would like to see this game on my Big Screen, plus I want to support the developer for making a great game with a great well written story. showing other developers how it's suppose to be done and still have artistic integrity.
  • Brutalicus - April 5, 2012 2:37 p.m.

White Wolf is Geralt's nickname if I recall. But yeah, great game. I can't believe they got this to run on 360.
  • onetimebuster - April 5, 2012 1:52 p.m.

Reason 14 what else is there to play right now on the 360.
  • IceBlueKirby - April 5, 2012 1:20 p.m.

I'm happy to have the chance to finally play this game, because I love me some dark fantasy. Aside from the setting, it still sounds like it's an amazing RPG.
  • patbateman17 - April 5, 2012 12:28 p.m.

Total bullshit this isn't on the PS3. There I said it, yes I love my PS3.
  • The_Tingler - April 6, 2012 2:31 a.m.

Yeah, it's annoying I know. Unfortunately CDP are quite a small developer and it's very hard to port to PS3 - it's just easier to port to 360 from PC. Remember how long it took Valve to start doing PS3 games?
