Turns out, The Greek goddess of love is also the mother of a foul-mouthed cartoon child. Well, they share they share the same voice actress, anyway. So safe in the knowledge that the Aphrodite sex game has now forever been ruined for us, we present the rest of God of War III's characters and the thesps who (you probably didn't realise) voice them.

@ thesunshinehobo thank you, man!!! still, he sounds like harvey in BTAS @sabtos you should see the documentary video in the treasures section. it shows how kevin was losing his voice the whole time and how he did a great job making this Hercules a much grittier and meaner one.

Great article, GR. I played through the game several times and never even noticed. For me Clancy brown kicked ass as the sword-wielding maniac, The Kurgen, in the original Highlander movie.

Wow. Zeus is a surprise, and it seems like they gave Sorbo a bit of a boost because my bass was rocking when Hercules was talking, I didn't think Sorbo had that low a voice in the TV show.

@mdiaz Harvey Dent was voiced by Richard Moll who did not play Hades in GOW, but did play Death in Dante's Inferno.

Corey Burton is hella-cool. all of you wish you could be as hip as him. and when i heard Hades speak, i thought: "is that harvey dent from the batman animated series?" i don't feel like googling it. does someone know if its the same dude?

I'm surprised no one's watched the voice actors doco on the disc, because if you had you would have known at least half of these people voiced those characters in game. I hope everyone learned their lesson...watch the documentaries about a game not in anyway about learning - you might learn something!

Clancy brown is Mr Krabs and Hades?!, wow, having just recently watched Shawshank again i find that pretty cool and impressed at his range of chracters. loved the voice acting in GOW3.

cartmans mom was also revealed as cartmans dad in one of the older episodes making her a hermaphrodite and that word came from hermes and aphrodite anyways thats what i read somewhere on the internet. and i hate how they change kratos' voice in god of war 3

Since it's already been mentioned that Clancy Brown's more recognized, by some, as the voice of Mr. Krabs from Spongebob Squarepants, I figured I would add in that I haven't watched South Park in YEARS and yet... Aphrodite = Cartman's Mother? WOW!!! That is seriously hilarious lol

Aphrodite is Mrs. Cartman. Makes sense. Mrs. Cartman is a dirty slut, which is the title of a South Park episode. Also, Corey Burton has a face for voice acting, in that he is a NEEERRRRDD! He may be a voice for our childhood characters, but still, look at him. LOOK AT HIM!

Don't talk shit about Corey Burton, that mf-er is not only Zeus, but also near half of the Transformers, including Shockwave. He was also Brainiac in Superman: The Animated Series, so yeah, that nerd blows up planets with his mind.

Kevin Sorbo was awesome in this game. Too bad they couldn't get Lucy Lawless in there too, lol. There's probably not a role she couldn't have played in this game.
