Long live the warrior. His mastery of melee weapons and heavy armor makes him perfect for soaking up damage as a meat shield and butchering bad guys. Plus, his longbows and rifles make him good for pulling mobs into the fray. Today, NCsoft released five new videos for Guild Wars 2, showing the king of melee in action. Check ‘em out.

    It is looking good, must admit i have only played the first installment or GW and did not really enjoy it but this looks promising. Another pretender to Warcrafts crown or a real challanger

    Try reading some of the system explanations at www.guildwars2. com it sounds so amazing! There are no quests just real time events that never return meaning you can create your own unique story - example: other players retakes a village captured enemy forces. 30 minutes later you arrive at the village and the enemy suddenly send reinforcements (new quest) if you (and all the other guys participating) fail to defend it the quests will take one path (do scouting missions to find out how to recapture the village ex.), if you on the other hand win the quests may take another path and open different quest in the area. Its just freaking epic, can wait for it :D

    Yeah the forums that a bunch of us Guild Wars 1 fans (among other PC games) are all shrieking like school girls over everything we see/read about GW2. I think it's going to be a tough feat to beat the first Guild Wars but ANet is one that can accomplish this! My main character was a Warrior/Ele and I loved knocking foes down with my hammer and then hitting them with elemental damage that was boosted via them on the ground. Curb stomped!^^

    I've been...not pessimistic about the game, but not overly excited either. Seeing these videos is starting to really change that; as a Warrior in the first game, I was absolutely loving these updates!

    I may be a WoW player, but I'll admit that I'm very optimistic about this...
