Alright chaps, King of questions here (your words not mine) 2 Questions... The serious one... What game do you like even though everyone else thinks it is guffo. I mean the kind of game that by all accounts is crapper than other alternatives but you still have a soft spot for? Mine is PES whilst everyone bums FIFA I still get excited about PES. Maybe I am a contrary stubborn sod but I love the bat shit approach the Japs have to Footy games. The one to keep Cundys attention... What game creature would you like to keep as a pet? Id have a MagiCarp, Essential useless I know but alot less effort than my current cat(Colin) the little sod brought me a half dead bat at 5 am the other night.. fun XXX XX O 8====D

laddy laddy lad lads. Wey-eye man - Raoul Moat. Edan here. (Fatalityduffman on the Twitters). I have recently started building a big filthy bastard of a gaming PC as I have become increasingly exhausted with the stagnation of current gen, the limitations we are subjected to on XBL and PSN, and the phony war Microsoft and Sony continue to parade up and down the stage at E3 every year, conga style. I want the next-gen NOW and not when Sonysoft and Microtendo feel they can make the most money out of it. My question is this - now that the cyclical rise of PC gaming as the "true frontier" of originality and quality is upon us again, do any of you sexually ravenous beasts think that this time, just maybe, the PC will win the hotspot and overtake home consoles? And, have any of you (apart from Dave) been enticed-ified? cheers for the podcasts. I watch you all sleep. BYEEEE!!

Hey guys , based on what you saw and heard about the next generation do you honestly think the next generation will drop in 2013 or 2014? your opinion on this is really important cuz I'm a college student so if I want to buy a WII U this year then there's no way I can afford a xbox720 or a PS4 in the next one or maybe two. keep up the amazing work.

I recently bought and played through Mini Ninjas. I loved the concepts and the possibilities that it was clearly trying to present, but the execution just wasn't good enough. Any games you find to be like that, with big ideas but not well enough designed to pull them off? Love the podcast, keep up the good work lovelies :D - Alex, Newcastle

Hullo! I've recently started a blog on games (shameless plug and I've often felt conflicted about what to write. Should I appeal to the masses with a top 10 that will generate more hits or should I write about something perhaps more interesting and opinion based that gets maybe 2 views. Do you guys also have this problem and/or how do you get around it? Keep up the amazing work!

Greetings Lads Has there been a game you enjoyed while you were playing it, but on hindsight of only a few days or weeks could see all the faults of the game almost destroying your previous memories enjoying of the game? I ask this because this happened to me after playing LA Noire.
  • NEPAL - September 14, 2012 9:27 p.m.

*memories of enjoying the game not memories enjoying of the game Apologies for the error.

Hello marvelous men of the kingdom united. It seems that gamers are increasingly willing to help fund developers who want to go off the beaten path. So I ask of you, if you could start a kickstarter for any type of game and it would be guaranteed to be funded, what type of game and why? What kind of special... perks would you offer to the people throwing money at you? I tip my hat and extend a hand which you each shake vigorously. I go on my way, thanking you for answering my inquiry.

Dave, Any word on the cooperative play for Resident Evil 6? My buddy Mark and I are chomping at the bit to play the campaign together. As always, thanks to all for keeping up the podcast. Teeties to Cundy, "Mario is better than Sonic" to Justin, and "Sonic is better than Mario" to Dave.

Hey Dudes Do you think DS style memory cards could one day overtake discs as the main form of content delivery on consoles ? I thought of some points for the idea. memory cards can be as big as you need them to be thus getting around the 360's problem inparticular with multiple discs needed for some games. Less noise from the disc drive due to it not being there in the first place. Better loading times due to the solid state nature of the card and eliminating the primary reason to installing to the hard drive. Consoles could also be smaller, again due to the sizeable disc drive not being there. Being able to cut down on packaging and box sizes. Of course digital distribution will outstrip it all in the future anyway but I personaly believe we are further away from that than everyone seems to think. Anyway enough of my poorly thought out hastly writen question love the podcast and you guys cheers for reading. (or digitaly shreading it all due to me being totaly inept)

Dearest men of G-Dar UK, In my new job as a learning mentor in a fancy new Secondary free school involves me teaching "The Arts" for 2 lessons a week. I can choose what i want to teach and what area of the arts, so I'm doing one lesson a week on film and one on video games! We have had one session already, where a split the class into XBox, PS3 and Wii and let them argue it out, which they got disturbingly into to the point where I feared blood would be spilt. So my question is: what do you guys think I should cover in future lessons? I've got a few ideas but would love to hear what the experts think - but they didn't get back to me so I thought I'd ask you guys! :-P Thanks gentlemen! Rob

  • Sinosaur - September 14, 2012 9:51 a.m.

Hullo again, GRUK I've been thinking lately about how hard it can be to talk about the past with games because of how quickly technology and techniques evolve in the industry. Something that was utterly brand new and amazing four or five years ago can be an overdone trope now. Is there any game that you loved or were amazed by that wouldn't really stand out the same way anymore that you wish other people could experience the way you did the first time you played it? (Mine would have to be TIE Fighter) Keep up the fortnightly fun
  • TheWoolyMammoth - September 14, 2012 9:15 a.m.

Hey lads, Would you rather be given a Wii U on launch day, or get to spend said day with Tingle? Not a cosplayer, *the* Tingle, who'll become a real person for the day. Admittedly, this question probably only works for Matt... Oh well. Also, I think you guys should plug your Twitter accounts more often, as I can't remember the last time you did so... P.S. Good to hear Meiks again.

Just got Tekken Tag 2. Really enjoying it. Recommend it to all of you. Unknown (the final stage character) has horribly cheap moves, one of which a huge hand comes from the ground and takes 99% of your character's health and tags him/her out. My question is, what is the worst cheap move/game mechanic/whatever that just filled you with rage.
