I don't read comics anymore but if they did make a RDR or Psychonauts comic I would completely buy them!

There's a Mass Effect comic series already, with currently five total comics (albeit one of which is Mass Effect 1's story so that PS3 players could make the decisions from that game and have them carry into 2).

I am kind of surprised that some of these don't already have comic books. Fallout seems like it would be a great game to turn into a comic when you think about all the side missions and the main story from each game.
  • Guardian88 - July 9, 2012 11:14 a.m.

ummm...Mass Effect is already a comic book series. Five of them in fact that Dark Horse made.

And if you read the article you'd know they mention them, but the point the GR staff is trying to make is that there are a lot more stories they (and I) would like to be told. I would really like to see a back ground story on most of the races in that universe, the quarians when they still lived on their home world resulting in the war with the geth and ending up in those suits, what happend with tali before she ends up with shepard, as it's pretty clear she allready got herself in big danger before. A view at worlds mentioned in the games but you never get to see, I would love to see the hanar world as they are supposed to amazing creatures when in water, how they trained thane and whole stories of him being some kind of anti-hero, he's a killer but there is a clear sense of honor there. And there could be so much more, stories about the cycle before the one we played in the games, about the rise of the protheans and their demise. And for the love of god I want to see a krogan riding on a god damned kakliosaur!

I believe they're doing a mini-series now that focuses on the squad members in Mass Effect 3. Tali's is (I'm pretty sure) what she did before Shepard saved her in the first game. Pretty much exactly what you're interested in.
  • Sjoeki - July 11, 2012 1:35 p.m.

That would really be awesome, and if they just throw in one krogan on a kakliosaur, I can die happy!

Pretty sure Chrono Trigger had a pretty epic Manga. Don't know if it went passed the games ending though...
  • IceBlueKirby - July 9, 2012 3:06 p.m.

I'm not really much for comics, but I would buy anything related to Chrono Trigger. ANYTHING.

Since vampires are all the rage now, you could bring in the silly-little-girl audience with a series about Alucard. He had adventures between Castlevania 3, SotN, and the Sorrow games, and the art style from SotN would look good in comic form.

I would totally read a Skullgirls Comic. I love that game and it's universe. Also, I think Bastion would make another cool comic, especially with the artstyle and characters; Perhaps it would tell the story of the world before the Calamity?
  • Baron164 - July 9, 2012 3:43 p.m.

There was a short Fallout comic series done by I believe dark horse. Could definately use more though, love me some Fallout :-)
  • Darkhawk - July 9, 2012 4:15 p.m.

Bring us more Ashley Wood Metal Gear Solid. That stuff is actual art.
  • Sea-Salt - July 9, 2012 5:33 p.m.

What the hell, have you not read the Sonic comics? It's had its ups and downs, but that's like any other comic ever.
  • Shinn - July 9, 2012 7:25 p.m.

Yeah, I like them too. And I even like the supporting characters, I've never understood how someone could have a problem with Shadow, Silver, Knuckles, Sally etc. It's not like there aren't dozens of 'respected' ongoing comics that people seem to love, which are just plain terrible.
  • Nap1400 - July 9, 2012 8:12 p.m.

I'd love a Skullgirls comic. But you know who I think needs some time in the spotlight in that universe? Bloody Marie. As mind-numbingly frustrating as she is to fight (Except when spamming Peacock's Heavy Shadow of Impending Doom) she seems like a very interesting character, and it'd be nice to see a bit more into her life before she became the Skullgirl.

A Fallout comic would be amazing. Especially with an artist like Geof Darrow (or Eric Powell for completely different reasons) behind the images. I had a New Vegas comic with my preorder copy but it was a bit generic.
  • wheresmymonkey - July 10, 2012 4:13 a.m.

There already are mass effect comics. Theres several and they all fill in the gaps between the games and flesh out the back story. the one about the illusive man i read was great but i cant for the life of me remember what it was called.
  • killorabbit - July 10, 2012 12:18 p.m.

Now I really crave a Psychonauts comic.
  • Stormdancer - July 10, 2012 3:51 p.m.

Do I even really need to add Okami to this? C'mon, it would rock.
