All of these fall into the antidote category: Black stereotype antidote:Eli Vance (Half Life) Half naked woman antidote: Alyx Vance (Half Life), Faith (Mirrors Edge), Zoey (Left 4 Dead) Masked men antidote: (Mega Man) not completely masked, but he's covered in a helmet and owns. Love interest antidote: Once again Alyx Vance (Half Life)

LOL at including Viva Pinata in the Animal with Attitude page.
  • melloe - October 21, 2008 5:29 a.m.

The truth has never been so hilarious.

Ah Man i just listened to talkradar11 and the top 7 was hilarious.

Pretty good article, a bit preachy sometimes and I fail to see how that raziel thing is a prettyboy. Moody and shit sure, but the guy runs about naked, has no visible genitals and isn't half his face missing? Other than that, pretty insightful stuff.

surely Louis from L4D is the antidote 4 the stereotypical black man. he's probably the skinniest, weediest least trash-talkiest black guy in gamin!

    Half-Naked Woman Antidote: Samus
  • doomdude - August 25, 2009 12:04 p.m.

    Dude yall nuff said
  • uz_mike222 - August 24, 2009 11:47 p.m.

this article was a funny one, but i think that that louis should have been the antidote for the Stereotypical-Black Guy also instead of CJ, but CJ is also a good choice since your able to make him either fat, skinny or "veins the size of an aircraft fueling line" buff. Great Top 7 article, keep it up guys
  • Fionachitauro - August 12, 2009 10:51 p.m.

missed spyro from animal wid attitude =/ but great job :L
  • secretsearcher - June 17, 2009 7:09 p.m.

And another antidote to the "brooding pretty boy" category is Sagi from the Baten Kaitos series. He was actually optimistic and cheerful, and cared more for others than himself.
  • secretsearcher - June 17, 2009 7:06 p.m.

Good article, but I don't think Kloana should be under the "animals with atitude" category. He actually, was somewhat likeable. And he didn't have an attitude either.
  • protospasm - June 17, 2009 1:19 a.m.

Pokemon Jynx is more of a kooky Japanese historical-come-fashionable image rather than the lazy black stereotype (although that DBZ Mr. Popo is a Moor if I've ever seen one). Here's a superfluous wiki-citation for the disturbing fashion trend. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganguro The only more disturbing trend is black teeth... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohaguro
  • LokiRising - June 16, 2009 12:22 a.m.

Freakin' awesome article, as usual, but I kind dig the Buzz cut space duder. The hair makes sense, military style, at least. Duke Nukem is god.
  • Turkeykilla7 - June 15, 2009 10:47 p.m.

Wow awsome article, loved it. I agree with everything except putting a picture of Yuna under the Pure hearted love interest. She is anything but a Damsel in Distress. She goes crazy on her enemies using frickin lighting and Summoning Aeons that shoot Frickin Laser Beams out their mouths. FRICKIN LASER BEAMS RIGHT UP THE A$$ OF HER ENEMIES!!!

Ok, Mr.Epic64, he makes sound. I apoligize. But does he ever say anything beyond the occasional onamatopeia? By the way, while I'm here, I just realized something. You missed another category, the "Arrogant Bad-guy". Let's see, there's M. Bison, Seth, Vega, wow, all Street Fighter characters. Maybe I've been playing too much.
  • Mr.Epic64 - March 7, 2009 9:56 p.m.

Actually, Mario says "Yahoo!", "Here We Go!", "Wa, Wa , Wa, WAHOO!", Oh no!" any many other things. Eat that td823934.
