      Running at full load for a while (like a day or two) isn't much of an issue unless it's inadequately cooled. I Fold at Home and on more than one occasional I'm sure, it spent a good two days folding non-stop. The exploiter shouldn't have used GPUs to do the dirty work, it's way too suspicious. They should have made it so it only used say 10% of idle processing power of CPUs. That level of power would be ignored and the combined power of say 100K CPUs with an average of 4 cores running at around 10% for a year would probably add up to quite a lot of bitcoins, not that I'm familiar with this bitcoin system.

      Don't get me wrong, this story is bullcrap (well, it's about a bullcrap cash grab), but... You can't compare the development of Pokemon with a real game. Agame that, you know, has any legit depth and playabiliy to it. The real question is how worthless do you have to be to have 9 (I'm assuming) experienced industry folks take 6 years to make Pokemon Red and Green? Even a year would be embarrassing.

      And once again, Apple does absolutely nothing to curb the massive fraud and piracy that occurs on their own (highly profitable) service, leaving the App Store completely indistinguishable from a Shanghai back alley street market. I wonder how long until Apple starts selling fake Rolex's and bootleg DVDs?
