I got a real Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta feel when in the spaceship and listening to the audio logs, I absolutely loved it.

Same here regarding the feel of Fallout 3. Great series to compare to. Fallout, 2 and 3 were epic adventures. SP:TSOT is just as epic. Just finished it today. Not sure what to do now with it. Guess it's on the shelf.

Anyone else notice that Mr Garrison didn't make an appearance? I find that very strange.
  • brian-thorburn - March 16, 2014 3:38 p.m.

He is in the community centre at the pta meeting.
  • Miss_Behaves - March 16, 2014 4:21 p.m.

Is he? Man, didn't leave much of an impression I guess. Thanks!

Regarding the issue of the game being censored in some regions, like here in the UK, my wife bought the game on release and has been playing it every night since then (it's not really one for when the kiddies are up!) and got to the censored part last night. I won't say what it is for fear of spoilers, but personally I think the way they've simply blocked the graphics with a screen describing in great detail what is happening is possibly funnier than the unedited scene would be ;)

Great game. If you want a little bit of a challenge you should play it on hardcore. I uploaded some footage of what it takes to beat hardcore mode with scene selection time stamps to skip around on all videos since most people seeing this probably seen the game already. After the initial meeting with Cartman, I proceed to loot every house in town before finding any of his 3 warriors. I think this is necessary when playing hardcore mode. Anyway, check it out if you are interested, I am playing as a Thief character, with "no commentary" except for Part 1, where I actually gave my character a voice and some dialog to mesh with the storyline. I would've liked to give my character dialog throughout the whole game but that would take a ton of time for probably the small amount of people that will see it. But if you guys like it and would like to see me narrate my character from start to finish, even during the fights, send me a message or post in the comment section on one of my videos, let me know what you think. Part 1 -

***Correction to post above... Part 1 has been deleted and remade without the MCT modded voice narration. See Part 1 along with full playlist here - I only post quality footage.

seems like it's not just people new to the series (these people actually exist?) who won't understand creme fraiche, Hollander can't even say it. Moron.
  • GR HollanderCooper - March 7, 2014 6:42 p.m.

    hey now

Man another point for the West. I mean if I understand correctly it has timed attacks like the Mario RPGs, an unexpected story, true to the source material. I may be shortsighting this statement, but this looks more interesting than Bravely Default. I actually don't know what to expect from this since knowing the nature of the show there are batshit crazy stuff that is impossible to see coming.
  • shawksta - March 4, 2014 8:59 p.m.

Curious, what is the other points for the west?
  • Vonter - March 4, 2014 9:11 p.m.

Dominating the console RPG market, "modernizing" old franchises, raising the bar in cinematic presentation in games, having more hits than misses in open ended worlds [mainly the sandbox experiences]. The main thing I thing they lack are more light hearted experiences. Still he japanese have points for not being so shy about sexual subject matters and being more stylized than realistic on their character designs.

Ah i see, i just wanted to be sure. "Still the japanese have points for not being so shy about sexual subject matters" Pretty much
  • Vonter - March 5, 2014 3:56 p.m.

Also I may bet most female leads are found in japanese games than in western titles.
  • shawksta - March 5, 2014 5:12 p.m.

They probably are, its just knowing where to look.
  • Jackonomics2.0 - March 4, 2014 8 a.m.

Its nice to know it did well. But it was Dick move to hold embargo after nearly 24 hours after.the game was released, this could've been a disaster if the game didn't do well.
