Sonic the Hedgehog 4-2 trailer teases free Metal Sonic content
Cyber-hedgehog's new adventures coming free to return customers
Did you see the new Sonic trailer when it sneaked out with the Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II release dates last week? Doubtless the surprise Metal Sonic reveal at the clip's end was all you could talk about over Easter weekend (which probably confused a lot of your friends and family). Now Sega's revealed that Sonic's metallic doppelganger will play the starring role in four new bonus levels.
Purchase Sonic 4-2 when the game's released in May and, if you buy or already own the first episode, you'll get access to four new “Episode Metal” stages intended to bridge the gap between Sonic CD and Sonic 4. The character first appeared in Sonic 2 and played a larger role in Sonic CD, making this as good a time as any to bring him into this sequel – which, one more time, will release on PSN come May 15, and a day later on XBLA.
