Silent Hill HD Collection delayed, March release now planned

You’ll have to wait a couple more months to enjoy HD fog

Looks like the January release calender just got even emptier. At one time it seemed there was a winter full of Silent Hill, with releases for the spooky series planned in January, February, and March. It appears now we’ll instead get a double shot of the horrifying town in March, as the launch of Silent Hill: Downpour will now be accompanied by the Silent Hill HD Collection.

The change in date for Silent Hill HD Collection (which includes visually improved ports of Silent Hill 2 and 3) was first spotted by fans when the game’s Amazon and GameStop pages had a vague March release date replacing the announced January 24 date. Eventually Konami answered fan concerns and confirmed the HD upgrade had once again been pushed a matter of weeks. For those of you out there dying to see the game, perhaps our recent developer playthrough will help ease the pain?
