I can imagine the joy and sadness you felt writing this.

This sort of brilliance is what makes GR special. And the mad photoshop skills.

Fantastic justin, absolutely glorious. But you shouldve added that Shenmue 3 runs on the Dreamcast 2 :P

Pffff Dreamcast 2. Like I'm gonna fall for that one. I know what day it is, shawksta! You can't fool me that easy!

That last sentence made me lose it, fantastic.

Still waiting on that Last Guardian review, hopefully the time they took adding the online multiplayer mode paid off.

Damn Joy's nipples! Creating lag at the most inopportune times. Otherwise, a great game. And Ryo riding a dragon to his fight against the main antagonist of this game, I'll never forget that moment as long as I live. And the collectibles! There's like five times the collectibles of the previous games. I've spent all my money on those toy machines and still don't have a quarter of all the figures!

April Fools. Ha, very funny(sarcasm intended). This year on gaming websites I see fake reviews of things like Shenmue 3, Half Life 3, GTA 5 for PC and Next Gen, and Starcraft: Ghost. Now let's try to keep going without crying out in agony that these games will probably never be released with the exception of GTA 5. It's at least an attempt to make an April Fools joke so I'm willing to applaud it for that. I know everyone was having fun making sarcastic comments but I felt that this would be more appropriate.

Yes, because being a party pooper (and not even in a funny or clever way) is always better than just playing along and having fun for once :P

I especially liked the time machine.

Man who could have possibly imagined that Shenmue 3 would release on the same day that Valve declared that Half Life 3 is real and coming exclusively to the Oculus Rift?
  • BladedFalcon - April 1, 2014 7:24 a.m.

Wow... So, all that crap I talked about Sega all these years? I take it all back. Just started playing this game a couple hours ago, and it's just... Transcendent. Now I finally see, everything Sega has ever done was so it lead to this masterpiece. My eyes have been finally opened!

Does the other games have ports in other consoles? 'Cause I got kind of lost.
  • GenderBender_9000 - April 1, 2014 7:09 a.m.

Man those graphics are so life like. The true "next gen" has finally arrived. I can't wait to play this.

I loved the bit where the kitten from the first game returned as a full grown cat, that had somehow made it's way to help lead Ryo to the mafia bracket helping Lan-Di out. It was a cute moment! Also the Hatsune Miku gashapons are kind of cool, even if it breaks immersion a little bit.
  • GR_JustinTowell - April 1, 2014 5:47 a.m.

Oh the kitten bit is awesome! I wasn't going to spoil it here, but seeing as you mentioned it, did you know the Special Edition also comes with a USB VMU adaptor? That way, you can transfer your Dreamcast save file into Shenmue 3, so the kitten's HP and attack stats are directly related to how well you fed it in the original. Mind = blown.

Whaaat? I would of totally stumped up the cash for the CE if I knew it came with that, just thought it came with that slightly creepy statue of Chai.
