RadarPlays - Gourmet Sentai

Everyone loves Power Rangers; that's a fact. So why not take their agile heroics, strip away the colored suits, and add in some culinary expertise? Sounds like a winner to us--and as luck with have it, that's the exact premise of Gurume Sentai Barayarō, or Gourmet Sentai for short. Lucas, Henry, and Greg hit the streets in this 16-bit, Japanese-exclusive brawler to beat down baddies and taste the rarest of cuisines. No, it doesn't really make sense to us, either; then again, it doesn't have to. Not with poses this pretty.

Want to hang out with GamesRadar's editors while taking a look at retro games, new releases, and totally random experiences? RadarPlays is for you. Every Wednesday, we'll help you get over the hump with the blasts from the past in RadarPlays Retro or the bizarre obscurities of RadarPlays Freaky. We'll also release RadarPlays for new releases whenever they come out, so be sure to check back!

I love how Lucas states that "I've never played this game, this is all new to me" and then not a moment later declares "so, when I was playing this for two minutes earlier..." without any hint of jokiness or having contradicted himself, lol. Both of those statements cannot be true! XD

This should've been titled 'Gourmet Sentai: Ya Chopped'.
