RadarPlays - Batman: Arkham Asylum

To celebrate both next week's release of Injustice: Gods Among Us and the recent announcement of Batman: Arkham Origins, we decided to shuffle things up and play Batman: Arkham Asylum. This game blew our minds in 2009, and it still looks absolutely wonderful. Take a look as we jump into the Dark Knight's suit and beat the hell out of some generic criminals while talking about the new game!

Want to hang out with GamesRadar's editors while taking a look at retro games, new releases, and totally random experiences? RadarPlays is for you. Mondays we'll be checking out blasts from the past on RadarPlays Retro, Wednesdays we change things up to whatever we feel like playing with RadarPlays Shuffle, and Friday is packed with the strangest titles you’ve never (hopefully) heard of in RadarPlays Freaky. We'll also release RadarPlays for all the new releases, so be sure to check back!

I will always stand by Arkham asylum as the most superior game. Arkham city just didn't do anything for me. I made the mistake of downloading the catwoman dlc; Forcing me to play as her ruined my whole experience of the game. I also found it boring, it lacked the hook the original had. I know I'm probably outnumbered on this opinion, but I can't be the only one that though this.

I hope they take the time to perfect Origins, it would be a huge blow to the Batman series if this ends up a huge flop :/

That blue cape is still a niggling distraction, it's even worse in Arkham City. I'm so glad Arkham Origins finally ditches this absurd batsuit.

In true Gears of War fashion, we'll probably see Oracle in person in the third installment.

Well Oracle probably still has the use of her legs in origins since it's early Batman.
