It explains the women thing on the gearspedia website where there is LOADS of info, as berserkers are the only women, they tie them down and rape as it is the only way or else the berserker would just rip the man into bits... and to be honest is pretty grim any way!

well to be fair jack is hidden away as a backpack of sorts worn by baird. this explains some of his random appearances, not all but it definitely explains a lot.

To answer your last real question, every locust "drone" is a male while every locust "berserker" is a female. The females are way overpowered because every female drone is really just a berserker.

At the end of 3 "Spoilers" they destroy all imulsion as it turns out it's a parasitic lifeform destroying the planet. But as everything except for maybe a few generators, vehicles etc. (that are many decades old) all vehicles, generators and machines run off imulsion. So basically they have no transport (so a way off the island, and all the ravens and ships are stranded), power generation etc. Basically they have "a tomorrow" but absolutely no way to run anything. They have nobody left who knows anything about gasoline power generation or vehicles except maybe Baird. But even he was born after everything was using imulsion. They are SCREWED.

Good questions, walking slow while talking on a walkie talkie reduces the static and keeps the signal strength up.

It wouldve been overall cool if the locust queen IS Marcus's mom, they could have done some interesting things but oh well. Seriously, what the heck does Marcus Bench Press!? XD
  • ObliqueZombie - March 13, 2013 1:06 p.m.

Believe it or not, the women of the locust are the berserkers. They are literally raped in order to make them spawn. As for everything else... ? Iunno, different gravity?

Also, isn't Jack permanently cloaked? It could be he's just floating around nearby at all times.

Thank you, I was going to say this, but somebody else did, so, thanks! ;D

Why is everyone so bulky? Is it just the armor?

Myrrah's humanity has been explained sorta, as is the whole "origin of the Locust." Never blatantly in the main campaign, but through collectibles, paying attention to details, etc, there are a few prevailing theories. I could go through it here, but there's only so many characters (and I'm so lazy =P ), so I'll leave you with this link by some guy who goes into serious details about the Locust. Spoilers for the franchise obviously forums . epicgames . com/threads/890098-Origins-of-the-Locust-A-study-of-the-Lambent-the-Sires-the-Locust-and-Myrrah [remove the spaces] Very good analysis, worth a read for sure.
