There wasn't anything particularly wrong with Tony Hawk's American Wasteland last year, other than it didn't feel like an Xbox 360 game. This year, we'll get the first game in the Hawk franchise designed specifically for the new hardware, Tony Hawk's Project 8 - and if you tap the Images tab above, you can check them out for yourself.
Both PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers will get Neversoft's eighth effort, and as this nice chunk of new screens illustrates, it's looking pretty sweet so far. We're eager to see the game in motion of course; we don't doubt that these were taken from the game running on development hardware, but until we see some overlays of scores and balance meters and stuff like that, we're keeping guardedly optomistic. We'll surely see the game in motion before the game's fall release.
