    My logic is pretty simple. Step 1: Choose the Grass type. Done.

    I also tend to avoid the grass types, I don't know why. Apart from Bulbasaur, I only chose him because I could beat my friend's lv.100 Charizard with Venasaur's combination of sleep powder and double-edge!

    Same here, the only reason I picked Turtwig in Gen IV was because he was a turtle.
