I hope that you can still make your character but they put in the clothes from the protagonists in the originals as an option for you to wear unless they put them both in the game as companions.

This dude is stupid...you waste my time...let me teach you sir...first off the box art will mostlikely be MegaGroudon and MegaKyogre. I say this because any true Pokemon fan knows the ruby and saphire legendaries..I also think that by "A New World" " A New Adventure"is trying to hint at that we have to realize its been over ten years since ruby and sapphire. They could get creative and have team aqua/team plasma reawaken Groudon/Kyogre but in a mega form...changing the map of Hoen. If OmegaRuby most the ocean will evaporate which will uncover new ancient Pokemon from ancient cities. If you choose AlphaSapphire most of Hoen floods and you encounter new ways to travel underwater plus same ancient cities and Pokemon. Both with X and Y engine and Many new MegaEvolutions ...hint the starters and more.

I love how both of guys make profiles and comment not realizing that this is a joke, Coop knows a lot about Pokemon and just did this to make fun of the fact nothing was revealed
  • vakarian - May 8, 2014 9:15 a.m.

    Team Magma not team Plasma.
  • matheus-dutra - May 8, 2014 9:30 a.m.

No, you're stupid... IT'S A JOKE! I laughed so hard watching this video.

pfft, someone didn't get the joke. Poor you
  • cory-neff - May 11, 2014 2:08 a.m.

naw man, thats obviously tyranitar and wailord. the guy in the video just said that. those dont even look like groudon and kyogre.
  • Rayveburn - May 8, 2014 2:38 a.m.

He completely got the pokemon's names wrong. He called Mega Groudon Tyranitar and he called Mega Kyogre Wailord. As for this guy's review of the two new games it sounds completely ridiculous that there could be 6 or 20 new pokemon games this year.

Hey, important correction - FireRed and LeafGreen DID in fact add a new Pokemon to the 'Dex - Deoxys, who first appeared in those games and later - as stated - ended up in Emerald, which came before those two. Minor fact checking guys, c'mon, you're usually better than this

Just like to mention that box art by itself proves there are new Megas. The Boxart is of Mega Kyogre and Mega Groudon. Also for speculation about the New World, I wonder if you will have a choice to side with one of the teams, which would change the map to include more water, or more land.

I really wasn't expecting Game Freak to launch another game this year, so this was really a surprise to me. Here's what I think: I think these games are remakes with an additional story infused within the original (it says new world). The other story may be different between the two games. Parts will be taken from Emerald (hopefully/likely the Battle Frontier) Mega Laits will be involved in some way. This will interfere will my Smash 4 time.
  • J-Fid - May 8, 2014 4:25 a.m.

An update today mentions that these games are "full-fledged remakes" of Ruby/Sapphire.
  • adam-tucker - May 7, 2014 8:20 p.m.

Two corrections. First off, the more obvious, Fire Red and Leaf Green came out before Emerald. Might wanna check your facts if you're going to write an article you know. Chances are Z will be after Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Second, you really think the 3D was underused in X & Y? Do you even know why they didn't use the 3D as much? First off it was to make most of the world more beautiful. They can actually make the graphics better when not using a 3D option but the second one, the reason they factually should use 3D sparingly, is because it made it more obvious, more prominent when it happened. You're walking through this beautiful world, the graphics amazing and the aesthetics awe inspiring and then boom, a battle happens and suddenly you're in the 3D plane, it makes the function more obvious and not just this thing that's on all the time. Using it in specific areas like caves and Gyms and the like had this effect to an even greater extent, making the 3D actually special. To say it was a flaw to not use it sparingly isn't even opinion based, it's factually incorrect as it was pretty much the most genius use of 3D to date. Not to mention again, it allowed them to make the graphics better for most of the game.

    I'm with this guy ^
  • zay313 - May 7, 2014 8:04 p.m.

I wonder if they'll do something with Rayquaza like they did with mewtwo and charizard by giving it two mega versions
  • XxHaLoBrO64xX - May 8, 2014 3:22 p.m.

In the CoroCoro Pokemon comics, they said that Rayquaza will get a MegaEvolution with Kyogre, AND groundon, MIXED!
  • winner2 - May 7, 2014 7 p.m.

I'm excited, I'll gladly take a remake of my favorite gen.
  • ben-holladay - May 7, 2014 6:31 p.m.

FireRed and LeafGreen came out before Emerald. It wouldn't be something new if Z still comes out after Alpha and Omega. Also Rayquaza wasn't a new addition to Emerald, he was just the mascot for that game.
