    Nicely written review; I'm super excited for a batch of new Pokemon and the gameplay changes seem significant enough to be excited about too. I will be playing through White, but I'm buying Black for my 10 yr old to play as well. Can't wait!

    Well, this review just made me want to go back and play old Pokemon games, but still not feeling a huge pull towards Black and White. I don't know what it is, but it's just not hooking me as much. I've been trying to figure out if I don't like the new Pokemon or if it's their names that's putting me off because they're almost all just bad puns, or, well, I don't know. Maybe it's that Game Freak hasn't changed enough, even after promising that this game would be doing everything from the ground up. I've bought every Pokemon game since Blue on day 1, but I'm giving this one a pass for now. Great review. and AgentJorrg, it's because she KNOWS Pokemon. She'd be the best to weigh the changes and the new ideas and everything like that. Anyone else wouldn't have fairly been able to judge, because they would have to have gone to the old games for comparison.

    This has decided it. I'm getting a new DS and Pokemon... Uhhhh..... White. I think. I prefer collecting and storing as opposed to battling and during my recent replays I haven't been doing that through either restrictions or apathy as I'm out to train a perfect team and pokeball money is wasted when I can buy potions, revives, etc. instead. I miss being excited by the appearence of new pokemon...

    I haven't played a Pokemon game since the original Silver, but after listening to the Pokemon Monday crew talk about Black and White so much I really want to get back into these games. Just haven't decided If I'm gonna buy a DSi or a 3DS yet.
