Phantasy Star Universe content update

Phantasy Star Universe players on the 360, PC, and PS2 platforms can get a jolly jump on the holidays with a package of new updates for PSU released today, December 8th.

Like all of the best presents, PSU will continue to give even after the holiday season because SEGA has promised that, “In an effort to support our avid GUARDIANs, new content in PSU will be updated on a weekly basis.”  So, strap on your party hats and get ready for fun into the new year!

Phantasy Star players can now specialize in seven new hybrid classes (including Fighgunner, Guntecher, and Wartecher), and new weapons types.  The level cap has been increased to 60.  To help players reach the cap there will be 10 new S Rank quests opening up on all planets complete with a brand new dragon.

Additionally, the first episode of the GUARDIAN Missions - a continuation of the offline storyline - has been released today, and will be available for any player from the GUARDIAN HQ after the update has been completed.

Finally, if you just can’t get enough holiday happiness, SEGA has added Christmas decorations during the month of December.  For a limited time, pick up your fresh green holiday item and give your character’s room a bit of seasonal decoration.
