@Redeater: There was a repair all button. If you don't zoom into a village or town, you can just press "repair all" and if you have the money, it repairs all the houses you have. Or, at least it had that on the PC. Not sure if it was on the console versions, but I'd imagine so.

I fucking hate this man. I realize hate is a strong word but I think it fits here. This man constantly says his next game will be amazing while suggesting his last game was shit. Here is an idea Peter. Create game mechanics and fucking refine them in your next game instead of throwing them all out the window in favor of shitty new ones. Seriously is it that fucking hard to have a "repair all" button instead of spending 20 minutes fixing every fucking house?

Fable 3 was rather disappointing, but to me, it just didn't feel right. The section as a ruler was underwhelming and not as good as it could be, while parts of the game felt wrong. It' supposed to be the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, but I never really got that feeling. Some factories and a couple cutscenes doesn't really give the feeling of progress or change. One of the things I wished they did was make it where less people trust you. You join up with a revolution and the majority of them seem to be fine with replacing the tyrant with his brother. It would've been interesting if there was a fraction of the revolutionary group calling for a Republic, and they lead an uprising after you become king, and you can choose to either crush them or give concessions (for example, signing something like the Magna Carta.) In addition, it would've been interesting (though not vital for the game) if you see more impacts for your choices. At some point you should take a tour of your troops before the invasion, and if you have no money in the treasury, you should see the troops wearing ragged clothing, with single-shot muskets, and with few artillery. But if your treasury is full, they're all wearing bright uniforms, they have repeater rifles, a lot of artillery, and maybe some early Gatling-guns. Eh, I'm rambling.

While that maybe true about games many offer a value for different tastes. Anyway fps is all about shooting at other people. But Fable after Fable kinda seems the same story line just different characters. I thought you would get to be evil though I never like the horns or halo thing. You seem to be a contradiction I shoot people randomly, sell slaves, sleep around(deadly sin), but yet I want to save the world. Plus why can't I stop the revolution. I truely wish for a game to be part of a evil army or tyranny. What?! Being good is boring and part of the society's ideal.

The whole Fable series are quite average, be glad you're getting support because the franchise isn't tyhe best thing since sliced bread Pete.

Fable 1 was good. I find Fable 2 to be fantastic. Fable 3's story was good, everything else a disappointment when compared to the previous two. One of my biggest questions though, is why every nonessential npc has to sound like a hick, in all 3 games.

Peter is bored with modern games? Join the club! But seriously, there's a kernel of truth to what he's saying, but there are so many good friggin' games out there it's not funny. The choice of software available should leave no one bored (provided they can afford it).

Peter Molyneux (creator of Fable, Populous, big promises he can't possibly keep) -nice one.

Fable 1 and 2 were great. The only problem I remember having with fable 2, the ONLY problem, was that you didnt have armor anymore. I played fable 3 and I was extremely disappointed. They seemed so focused on the storyline they didnt put hardly any time into weapon types and clothing. And you only get to make a handful of choices as a king. I consider fable 3 a failure and fable 2 a masterpiece.

@genericide I Don't think it's pure hate for him, it's probably mostly just us ranting from frustration about the game. It just florishes because we get to read something stupid that Peter said all the time so we get to rant more and more about it letting the thoughts and ideas swell. If he never said anything like " Oo im so sorry , the next game will be great" and stuff like games are boring now (because he forgot that not every game is a FPS) we wouldn't be so mad

His new on-rails Kinect game is probaly gonna score mid-60's
  • Clovin64 - June 30, 2011 12:11 a.m.

Contrary to popular belief, an 80 is not really a bad score. Ol' Pete's too hard on himself.
