Perfect Dark Zero Hints

  • Better Accuracy

To get better accuracy you must first crouch to get good aim then SHOOT! Putting a silencer on your gun will also give you better accuracy.

  • Secret Passage in Mission 7

Before the mission, select the demolition kit from the weapons menu. During the mission, after you kill the two brothers go across the bridge towards the rocket. When you get to the rocket, take a left and go down that road. When you get to the end of the road, there should be two doors (one on the left and another on the right). If you try to open them, they will say "secured." If you go on to a ramp that is on the right side of the left door, there will be a crack in the wall. Use the demolition kit to blow up the crack to get into the door.

  • Secret Wepons Box

Before you start level 7 you need to select the locktopus as your gadget. Before you go down the lift there is a box beside the door. Use the locktopus to open it.

  • Secondary Fire

All of the weapons in PDZ have a secondary fire and some have a tetritary fire(basically a 3rd function). To activate the secondary fire simply press the RB button, beware though when trying out new guns because sometimes you may lob a grenade at a friendly on accident. The Tetritary fire is activated by HOLDING RB and pressing LT(zoom). This 3rd function is found only in a few PDZ weapons, for some it is a flashlight. The RCP-190 is an odd man out when it comes to this. The secondary is a "threat detector" which basically dulls everything except enimies, security cameras, and mines which it highlights in bright red. For the jungle missions this is an invaluable asset. And just as well the 3rd function is Reprogram, you can shut down video cameras or reprogran turrets from a distance with this seemingly cheap weapon.

  • Defeating the Final Boss in Mission 13

When the final Boss jumps to the platform you are standing on, he will lunge at you with his sword. Right before he swings it, dive out of the way. If done correctly, he will trip and fall. Quickly grab his sword from the ground next to him before he gets up and start attacking him with it. Note: The sword can be used to hit three consecutive times by quickly pressing RT(3). If he manages to get away, he will summon his sword back to him. After this happens, just wait for him to jump back onto your platform and repeat the process.

In the Mansion Infiltration mission, there is a room you must go through that is full of guard wires. In the middle of the room is a sword. If you take the sword and keep it for the rest of the mission, you will be able to bring it to any of the other missions. In the last mission, bring it with you. Press LB to dodge the final Boss' attack and let him fall over. Before he gets up rapidly press RT. This will only need to be done once or twice. Take your time shooting him. Concentrate on dodging while he is shooting energy balls or throwing pillars at you. Bring a weapon with a silencer so that you can shoot him while he is trying to heal himself with people so he will drop them. Silenced weapons have the best aim -- you will only need to shoot once.

  • Infection Multiplayer Stratagies

Here are a few stratagies for the Xbox Live game mode "Infection" that have seemed to work out for me.

    - In any map try not to be by yourself. It makes you vunerable from all sides, and puts you at a complete disadvantage when facing multiple enemies

    - Good weapons for Infection are:
    Superdragon-(good firepower, bouncing grenades)
Shotgun-(strong at close range, deposits you as a friend on ememy radar, useful secondary function NOTE:Also not always a good thing)
RCP-(High Rate of fire, large clips, Useful secondary function-enemy detector
    Mines-(Good booby traps)
Magnum-(Good stopping power, great secondary function-decoy shot which is great for distracting the infected)
CMP-(Good accurate shots, cool secondary function-Hologram)
FAC-16-(5 grenades, silencer, cheaper than the Superdragon)

-When playing Infection try to find a big hiding spot with one narrow entrance or anything close to that. It makes it easier to kill enemies since they will just funnel in NOTE: It is better to have a group for this.

-As an Infected instead of trying to shoot an enemy with the Falcon try to get upclose without any weapons equipped(Up on the D-pad will get you to pull out your fists)walk up to the enemie and hit the Right bumper(button)and you will steal your enemy's equipped weapon.

-In any level never stand still. It gives the oppertunity for an Infected player to score an easy kill.

-In the maps Tower and Urban, if you are hiding out in the hotel or casino (Urban), or in the South Bluff (Tower) stay away from the entrances. It presents easy kills for Infected especially if they have an explosive weapon such as the Rocket Launcher, FAC-16, or SuperDragon.

  • Use Jack's Magnum

Go into any solo mission that allows the you to get near Jack. Then go up to Jack and Disarm him (unarmed secondary). It will then say you have picked up Jack's magnum. This magnum shoots 2x faster and is 2x more powerful.

Note:you can not keep it the entire game, only that level

  • Fall Break

    Entry location: Anywhere
As you know, when you fall from a distance, you will obtain temporary damage, and have your movement slowed. One way to avoid this is when you jump off something, the exact mini-second before you jump, dive. This should break your fall, so you don't get any temporary damage.

  • Get the Hawk (Throwing Disk)

Start the Trinity: Infiltration level; after you kill the two assasins sent to kill you, head to the right side of the hangar to the walls, BEFORE you go past the extending bridge you will see several lockers on the wall. All of the lockers are unlocked and empty except for one, which contains X-Ray goggles. After picking these up hit Right on the D-Pad, this equips the X-Ray specs. Use them to scan the crates in the hangar, smash the crates and in the bottom of one you will find the Hawk, it is a throwing disk similar to the one found in Turok 2. It only takes up one unit of space too, so it makes a fun addition to your already deadly arsenal of weapons. Note: Be sure to finish the level with the Hawk if you wish to use it in later missions.
