No delays in sight for Wii

The bad news just keeps stacking up for Sony, with itslatest announcementtopping the charts on the "are you kidding?" meter.

To combat this dreadful PS3 delay, Nintendo's pulled back its reclusive shell just to say that everything's fine where Wii's concerned. The company's UK voice says "the launch is on track," allaying any fears that Wii might miss its promised six million units on store shelves by March 31, 2007.

In other Wii news, a list of accessories has sprouted up on EB Games' website. Everything from travel bags to SD cards have made there way onto the retailer's shopping list, each with a release date of November 1, 2006. Usually, if the release date's listed as the first of a month, it's a guess at best. If you're curious to see what goodies are already being slapped together (game wallets! A controller glove!), head over toEB Games for a peek.

Nintendo's got a big day planned for next Thursday, so be ready to head back for the absolute latest news on this year's only global hardware launch.
