New Xbox 360 Kinect dashboard appears on YouTube

A leaked video showing an early look at the new Xbox 360 dashboard has just appeared on YouTube. The video shows how the new interface will work once the menus are updated to work with Kinect. The look of the dashboard seems to have been streamlined and sharpened to make way for Kinect, which will allow users to swipe through the options with hand gestures and make selections with voice commands.

OMG! It's fucking nothing! I see no changes worth noting and nothing that would affect how you'd use motion controls to interact with it. Why is every Gamesradar editor a Microsoft fanboy (a.k.a. slave)?

Cool Dashboard, it is SLIGHTLY more bassass than the current version, Original still cooler, Though MW2 appears to have been hacked and the whole vidieo is obviously a promo for another clan (sigh)

It just... it really doesn't seem like they actually changed anything, so yay for appearing sleeker and everything, but what's the point, and why all the fuss?

What was with him jumping a billion yards into the air at the end? HOW DO I DO?

Looks empty. I prefer the cluttered NXE (in other words, it looks like they have things in it). While I like change, this doesn't look like it is for the better. Although the quick loading in the Dashboard will be welcomed with open arms.

its really not that big of a deal. it looks pretty much the same. all your stuff's still gonna be in the same place. so idk. im not that excited.

I agree with sly123321. I think it looks pretty generic. It doesn't look bad and ultimately doesn't matter, but still.

@pephep It looks nothing like it and it has always been better than XMB.

I personally like more curvy lines not super strait edges... :(

Looks pretty much the same. Hopefully it works more smoothly and they address how long it takes to read what is on the Hard drive.

silly question, but if you dont get Kinect will the dash still change to this? I much prefer the current set up from looking at this but i know its hoping a bit much for it to stay the same.
