New shots of Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins

Capcom showcases monsters and magic

The first time we played Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins, it threw us for a loop (as noted in ourpreview). Put simply, this is one of the best-looking, best-playing PSP games we've seen so far, and it's packed with enough new features to keep old-school fans from feeling they've done it all before.

To give you another look at the monsters and hazards you'll face as Sir Arthur this September, we've tossed up a few new screens for your perusal. Click the thumbnails at lower right for a closer look.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
