EA accosts the top of the chart this week as Medal of Honor European Assault moves up to first place, leaving room for the PC-only Battlefield 2 to enter the chart at two.

GTA San Andreas is pushed down to fifth place, with THQ's street racer Juiced holding on at three for a second week. Another THQ offering takes fourth place, in the extraterrestrial form of Destroy All Humans.

PS2 scrapper Tekken 5 debuts in slot six of a busy chart, with Xbox's foul-mouthed squirrel making a welcome return in Conker Live and Reloaded, which charts at 10.

Recent retail promotions give Mortal Kombat Deception a boost to slot 12 and Dynasty Warriors 5 tactically moves in on position 15, shoving many long-standing chart dwellers - FIFA Street, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Gran Turismo 4 among them - out of the way.

Other new entries this week that don't quite crack the top 20 are MX vs ATV Unleashed at 22, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Soaked at 25, and the DS mystery adventure Another Code: Two Memories, which enters at 28.

Most of come in the shape of new formats for old games, which should help to push games like Area 51 (which has a PC version on the way) and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (porting to DS) back up the chart.
