After only one week on the market, LEGO Star Wars II sells 1.1 million copies

We've done our best to try to convince you of the ultimate supremacy of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, but, as it turns out, the world either has no need of our advice or takes it very seriously. Selling 1.1 million copies (or "units" as industry pundits call them) in its very first week of being available to the masses, LEGO Star Wars II has cemented the value of family friendly titles in this blood-soaked, violence-mongering industry.

Of course, it helps that the game is monstrously fun.
