League of Legends roundtable - Is Sejuani worth buying?

Every few weeks, Riot Games launches a new champion for League of Legends, and the community immediately erupts into endless debate. Some will always think that anything new is overpowered, while others will complain that the new Champions need massive buffs in order to compete with the older ones that players have already mastered. We feel like ending that debate, one Champion at a time, and we'll be tackling every new champion alongside our good friends at PCGamer to help you decide whether or not the new Champions are worth buying.

This week, we take on Sejuani, the Winter's Wrath. How does she work? What's her role? Find out in the video above.

And be sure to leave us feedback as to things you want us to discuss or show off while we play these new characters - your opinion is valuable to us, and we want to make sure we give you the absolute best League of Legends coverage we can.

i like her she has good initiation and with the right items most champions can't escape her butthere are far more efficient tanks

I'd like to see more of these, actually. It certainly is nice to see and hear you guys know your LoL stuff. And if you ever weigh in on Xerath, I can totally help with that. (bought him Day 1 and played him many times to little/no success.)

Then you aren't playing him right. Try enabling smartcast on all your hotkeys and drinking a pot of coffee.

...and Coop is wrong, when he says everything scales off of AP. the w is her main damage skill and it scales off of health.

It also scales off of AP, with buffs from the health.

Yea but like you said in the video, you'd have to be some sort of troll savant to build her AP. She's so beefy to stay in the fight and kite them. Q in, distract until you're low health then Q out letting your team finish them in the aftermath. I like philo stone, and the turtle shell thing for th gp5, merc treads and for AD heavy teams grab frozen mallet, randuins, maybe sunfire or thornmail... for ap heavy teams the first 3 items and banshee veil, nature fury, frozen mallet... I've tried messing around with atmogs on her but her damage doesn't scale with her skills at all so there's really no point to it.

Fun listen. Nice to see you guys are knowledgeable about the games mechanics. Including build and skill orders may be worth looking into, but that could risk simply turning this into a copy of the champion spotlights that Riot releases.

We'll see what we can do. Maybe we can include that in the article text, but not the video?

I'd like to see a list of the best champions. I'm new and have been trying not to go negative.

    Strongly considering picking her up.

I'd like to see recommend builds and skill orders. First thing I always do when I'm jungling a new hero is youtube "jungle sejuani" and skip to the part of the video with the first item and first skill to make sure I jungle them right. So far I found regrowth pendant into philo stone works kinda nice, especially since she's mana hungry in general.

Personally everyone I see play her absolutely blows. They don't understand that she is mostly tank and CC, and instead always go for kills and whatnot. Haven't tried her myself, although I do like jungle Rammus, so Sejuani might be good for me, being another jungling tank. Should be free to play with next week anyway, every new champ is F2P two weeks after release.

I really like this hero but I really need to work on my jungle =/
