Clearly sick of not getting the prime roles she wants, Jada Pinkett Smith is striking out as a writer/director, and now she’s nabbed a cast for her directorial debut.
The Human Contract will find a massively successful yet emotionally troubled businessman (Brotherhood’s Jason Clarke) finding his life getting flipped, turned upside down (yes, it’s a Fresh Prince joke) when he meets a mysterious and free-willed beauty (Spanglish’s Paz Vega).
Also signed on board are Ted Danson and Idris Elba (still busy trying to forget he was ever in The Reaping). Pinkett Smith is kicking off shooting this very week, with husband Will helping out as executive producer.
