Oh and I'm calling it now: his brother dies and with his last breaths tells Delsin how much he loves him and is proud of him
  • GR_RyanTaljonick - February 12, 2014 8:25 a.m.

HAH i really hope this happens.
  • winner2 - February 12, 2014 9:47 a.m.

Well, I mean, I'm 95% sure It will
  • winner2 - February 12, 2014 9:48 a.m.

Or actually there are 2 likely possibilities: the bro dies, and/or gets kidnapped by the government as a way to get to delsin, and you have to make a choice between your allegiance with the terrorists or your love for your bro
  • MeTimeFreeTime - February 12, 2014 9:22 a.m.

Sounds like a "good guy" ending.
  • winner2 - February 12, 2014 9:46 a.m.

Maybe but that's why I left out any notion that delsin would take responsibility, you could just make him get angry and kill all the bad guys for vengeance

If you had played the previous infamous games, you'd know that while not divorced from tropes, they don't follow clichés to the letter, so I'm gonna go ahead and call you wrong on it :P

I have played the other infamous games, which we've actually discussed on other articles before, and I think you should try to lighten up a bit. I'm the wrong person to try to engage in any kind of argument on this site, because I don't care enough to get into it. As for your other comment about me not liking Delsin, it's because he just seems like a douchebag to me. From that power obsessed grin to the whole "I'm a badass" looking attitude, I just can't stand him from what's been shown thus far. I much preferred Cole even if he was more stoic. I don't care if Delsin enjoys his powers, it makes him look really dumb to me, even if it's "refreshing" for some people. I don't always care if somethings been done a million times, if the alternative being presented is something I've never cared for in the first place.

*shrugs* Fair enough, can't really force you to like something, even if I disagree completely :P I'll just say this... So what if he's a douchebag with a huge ego? it's not like you have to actually live with him, and if recent pop culture is any indication, some of the most entertaining characters have come from douchebags that have huge egos. (Dr. House, Sherlock Holmes, Tony Stark, Andrew Ryan, Handsome Jack, so on and so on...) They might make for horrible people to deal with IRL, but at least to me, they are just fun to watch because it's entertaining, and the fallout of their actions isn't real. And then there's also the fact that pretty much NONE of these kinds of characters get away with anything, in fact, they are often the way they are because they are miserable in some aspect. Which you could also see it as a bit of poetic justice in a sense. Again, pretty sure I'm not gonna change your mind on this, and that's fine, but hopefully at least this gives you an insight of why these kinds of characters aren't really a bad thing *shrugs*

No, I agree there's not something bad about the existence of characters like that , I just don't get as much entertainment out of watching or interacting with them. Just a personal preference thing honestly. It's an entire package kind of thing for me though. Like, I kinda like House, and he is an asshole, but I liked him because he was really smart while being an asshole. For him and certain characters, it all wraps up into a final product I can appreciate. So far with Delsin, he hasn't given me anything I appreciate. But since the game isn't out yet, I'll reserve final judgement of course. Just so far he's not doing it for me.

All right, that sounds pretty reasonable, yeah ^^
  • homestar99 - March 20, 2014 8:07 a.m.

Secondary bet. When that happens on evil karma he calls you a dick.
  • winner2 - February 12, 2014 8:20 a.m.

I'm not excited at all. This character seems like an unlikeable douchebag for me.
  • BladedFalcon - February 12, 2014 3:30 p.m.

...Why? Because he's for once, a superhero that choose to embrace and enjoy his powers instead of treating them like a curse or a burden? Besides, if there's going to be a choice element in the game, chances are how he behaves will be regularly up to you, he could be an anarchic asshole, or a more responsible guy that can still have fun. Either way, it's at least more refreshing than the overly tried "stoic" superhero stereotype we saw with Cole or a TON of other videogame characters.
  • homestar99 - March 20, 2014 8:23 a.m.

The character CAN be a douchebag or not. Just pick good karma and leap off from there.
  • StrayGator - February 12, 2014 7:25 a.m.

Say "Grunge" one more time! I dare you! I double dare you!
