  • Speedsk8r - March 8, 2009 5:13 a.m.

I'm going with what Grover117 said, this is just a way for bungie to bug us... yet again.
  • bron1417 - March 7, 2009 6:56 p.m.

  • GamesRadarLizzieCuevas - March 7, 2009 5:45 p.m.

Okay, um, "P3N15". You can grow one like your name suggests and realize that the last part of the article is a joke, hence the Photoshopped images. But whatever. LOL, internets!
  • Elbo444 - March 7, 2009 8:14 a.m.

LOL another page and a half even after McNeilly's comment, conversations like this make me die a little on the inside
  • TarkDaShark - March 7, 2009 3:01 a.m.

i still think hes chuck norris
  • fixer12 - March 7, 2009 1:22 a.m.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Sgt. Forge isn't MC. If you read the books, you actually know that.
  • mjmont92 - March 6, 2009 11:17 p.m.

the voices sound simmilar. find clips of master cheif and clips of Sgt. Forge and compare. or just look at the voice actors, there's a chance bungie would have used the same actors to drop a hint.
  • Ravenbom - March 6, 2009 11:09 p.m.

like boondock saint 54 said, I think he looks like commander shepard, who in turn looks like the prison break guy... good ole buzz cut space dudes (yes, I'm referencing a GR article)
  • georgeguy - March 6, 2009 10:38 p.m.

are you sure master chief isnt chuck norris? great artical btw
  • xDarthJonesx - March 6, 2009 10:07 p.m.

even going by the novels, i agree, it could be the master cheif, because when he was takin as a child he was replaced with a flash clone, and the clone was supposed to die of natural causes later on, but what if john's clone didn't die? what if he lived and didn't die off? he was a strong kid, he could have joined the unsc and been fighting in the war, unknowingly fighing in 2 places at once lol
  • grover117 - March 6, 2009 8:41 p.m.

you know.....i bet this all Bungie just fucking with us. hahaha
  • GamesRadarLizzieCuevas - March 6, 2009 8:33 p.m.

Professor Anders is hotter than Cortana IMO.
  • IronicBob - March 6, 2009 8:25 p.m.

NOBODY in amidst all this toot about Master Chief (Who in an ideal world would be Count Arthur Strong - google him, or use Wikipedia or Youtube or whatever.) has noticed the similarity between that person who might have been Professor Anders and Cortana.
  • chester_spartan - March 6, 2009 6:09 p.m.

FINALLY some one else has the SAME theory ive been talking about, ima take this article and shuv it in my freinds face and go HAHA, lizzie <3
  • Turkeykilla7 - March 6, 2009 5:32 p.m.

No way. Its pritty obvious that the master cheif is really...... Fedor Emelianenko. I mean really who else can kick a$$ like that guy. Same head shape aswell Kinda
  • P3N15 - March 6, 2009 5:18 p.m.

uhh sorry gamesradar, but im gonna have to shatter your theory reading all the novels and following the halo story line, we know that master chief was never a sergeant also master chief was never present at harvest during the attack on harvest, instead he was briefed on the situation and sent to another location, where he got his new mjolnir armor (the one seen in halo 1) so even IF he went to harvest after being debriefed, its almost guaranteed that he would use his new armor also masterchief's first battle with the covenant was AFTER the situation in Harvest also the comparison to the face is not correct, bungie already stated that the "face" is a photoshopped picture of an employee, and has no bearing on what masterchief looks like i know you guys really dont mean this article to be serious, and im probably overreacting, but many people will think that that IS the master chief, and being a hardcore halo fan im just informing the people who read this article SHORT VERSION -MasterChief was never at harvest during the time of Halo Wars -The face in the beta was a photoshopped picture of a bungie employee

Sigh... Here (Warning, spoilers) "The Master Chief's backstory is never explained in the games. A prequel of Halo: Combat Evolved, the 2001 novel The Fall of Reach, reveals much of the character's history and was released as a companion to the game. The Master Chief, originally named John, was born in 2511 and first lived with his family on the human colony planet Eridanus II. Large for his six years of age, and approximately a foot above his school peers, he is described as a typical boy with brown hair, freckles and a gap between his two front teeth.[15] In 2517, John and seventy-four other children his age are covertly taken from their homes and replaced with flash clones to hide the kidnapping. The original children are brought to planet Reach, one of the UNSC's headquarters, to begin intense physical and psychological training to become SPARTAN-II supersoldiers.[15] They are assigned new identification numbers instead of last names; John becomes known as John-117. Approximately eight years later, John and the other children are biologically and cybernetically augmented and enhanced. These procedures had substantial risks;[15] only John and thirty-two other Spartans survive.[15]" - THERE!!
