GI Noooooooooooo!

Oh dear. Seems like GI Joe (a film that make SFX’s Rich Edwards turn a very funny colour at its very mention) did well enough at the box office to spawn a sequel. And it could be written by the currently hot team behind Zombieland

According to IESB.net , Zombieland writing team Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (who have just been officially announced as the writers on the Deadpool movie) could also be penning the script for GI Joe 2. Busy pair.

But the real news here is… GI Joe 2? Really? Yup. GI Joe: Rise Of The Cobra (aka, GI Joe: Fall Of Christopher Eccleston’s Career) may have been the kind of film that had critics running out of synonyms for cack (a standard problem when it comes to Stephen "Van Helsing" Sommers movies), but it did well enough at the box office, grossing over $300 million worldwide.

Come on. Who paid to see this? Stand up and be counted. You can’t say we didn't warn you.
