Germanys EU has a go at video games

It’s a long-debated issue: how big is the impact of violent computer games? Are current age ratings working properly? And so forth.

The nation has long had a stricter policy on violence in games than other territories. An EU ruling wouldn’t just cover obviously gratuitous titles, but it seems the measures could potentially outlaw Star Trek or Lord of the Rings games.
