-place an indictment on edge of a cliff -hide -wait for enemy player to pick it up -kick enemy player off the cliff The first time it happened to me I couldn't even get mad at the Darkwraith for doing it. It was way too funny.

Hitman taught me that killing a clown, taking his clothes and murdering people is... kind of fun.

The Warhammer 40K games teach that extreme racism, xenophobia, and religious intolerance are not only acceptable, but desirable.

I thought this was going to be about moral choices in games like Mass Effect, KOTOR, and GTA IV. But this more "meta" view of games was actually more interesting (and funnier). You might also say that Pokemon conditions us to expect strangers to give us bicycles, rare candies, TMs, etc. for nothing in return. Then again, Pokemon also teaches us that practice is valuable and essential.

Pokemon also teaches us to enslave animals that we find and force them to fight for our enjoyment and our own gains.

I've always tried to do the "good" actions in every video game I've ever played, most notably in RPGs like Fallout, Skyrim or Mass Effect. I really don't like to do "bad" or mean "things", even in video games. That's why I don't enjoy Grand Theft Auto, because it encourages you towards pointless violence against other citizens, and not soldiers like in military shooters. In fact I don't enjoy military shooters that much except for BF online, and even then I try to act nice towards other players and not like a jerk. I guess I'm probably not alone, but I'm likely one of the few...

My god, I would fuckin HATE to watch you play a game. Sounds incredibly boring....

I'd say Zelda games taught me to break stuff, not Diablo.

Tearing down civilisation in Red Fact: Guerrilla. I know you're trying to rid the EDF but still every bit architecture is that game can be destroyed. The amount of times I drove a truck into a non-EDF building is insane

You're thinking too modern, D & D taught me that it just takes one man to completely dick over your entire worth and legacy, just because he hates you and all you stand for in life.

  • Fox_Mulder - October 12, 2012 5:16 p.m.

Dishonored should be on here, I've killed most everybody in the game, and towards the end the ramifications of my actions make me feel like a dick.
  • dangomushi - October 13, 2012 2:57 a.m.

The first thing I thought of was Just Cause 2. Just dragging dudes behind vehicles or hanging them from lamp posts.... I felt like such an asshole.
  • mademanrdo - October 13, 2012 1:14 p.m.

i think that getting raped in gears of war is way more of a jerk move than getting tea bagged in halo
