FIFA player blames real footballer for his destroyed controller and gets one free

In a staggering case of rewarding bad behaviour, footballer Mario Götze is apparently replacing a FIFA player's rage-destroyed PS3 controller because the pixelated version of himself missed a penalty at the 90th minute. Yes. You read that right. Welcome to Monday.

Posting on the Bayern Munich Facebook page with the fury snapped Dual Shock 3, Mario Thissen got a reply from Götze apologising and asking him to look in his private messages to organise a replacement controller. So yes, the moral of this story is that you can make mistakes, have a tantrum, blame someone else entirely and still get a new Dual Shock. Hopefully Götze doesn't regret his generosity as the rest of the world inevitably joins in. Thanks Kotaku.
