The Week of Hate - you're soaking in it. But while most of the resentment has been dispensed by either us, or by you, we thought it important to get an outsiders' perspective on exactly why we suck. In a daring act of gaming reportage, we took to the streets to risk our very lives and feelings to ask non-gamers what they hate about us.

We managed to cobble together some hardcore resentment from artists, geeks, musicians, hot chicks and hobos. It’s beyond safe to say the people in this quick little vid detest gaming, and by association, you! A word of caution to those of fragile ego: The ladies are particularly harsh.

If you need us, we’ll be on the forums sobbing in the fetal position. People can be so cruel...

has anyone notice that none of these people look right in the head if you get what i mean......i feel a lot of hate right now and none of these people look like they have a life past the ones they imagine they have.....maybe the biker does cause hes old and the old lady but no excuses for anyone else.

I lmao at the guy with an accordian. I also noticed that nobody actually suggested something better to do than play games. At 0:40, she would rather go out and do something "cultural." WTF is "cultural" supposed to mean?!?!

My absolute favorite part was 2:12-2:15, where the old lady describes why she hates games because, "cutting their breasts off or shoving knifes up their crotches or pulling testicles out their nose..." ROFLMAO.

It's funny how as soon as someone's labled a 'gamer', it automatically means that gaming is ALL they do. Because obviously if you play video games you cannot be into anything else in life. I think that applies a bit more to jocks, no?

I am glad to hear the opinions of people who aren't gamers. I believe though that just as chinese people are stereotyped as being bad drivers, gamers are stereotyped as only sitting in basements playing games where you do one thing over and over and have no real social life.

They do exist as proven by the drunk red-headed girl. That gamer was a fucking idiot. I would fucking love it if my girlfriend wanted to have sex with me so much that she was willing to strip and jump on my keyboard. Most gamers however don't simply only play games and nothing else.

How is gaming not "cultural?" The clothes that dumb chick wear's everyday is part of her cultural. What makes her so special?

I can appreciate the guy who talked about dungeons and dragons because he at least gave a thoughtful explanation, however even he was blinded by the stereotype. You can't just make up your mind about something because you heard something or had one bad experience.

First of all I dont like the pepole that do anything in the game just to win and lose sight of all the fun because that is not the point listen carfully the point IS to have FUN I beilve that if you play a game for 30 minutes and have no fun that you should STOP.

The point is not all gamers are like the sterieotypical images that pepole first see when they hear the word 'Gamer' (as demonstrated previously in the fourms) most are just regular pepole who found a easy way to blow some steam talk to pepole with no real commitments and have FUN in the prosses.

Pretty funny how two of the three younger girls they interviewed were saying that their boyfriends were paying more attention to videogames more than them. hmm... maybe these two girls are so godawefully boring, their boyfriends just dont want to have anything to do with them. you should probably stop and think 'if i am so lame, i can strip down and dance in front of a guy and not get his attention, maybe im not worth this guy's time hmm?
