Lower framerate, less tearing. Which ever you can deal with more apparently. Neither is particularly perfect.

Definitely, thought more about an open-world monster hunter. The ability to climb on monsters is also awesome, and how useful burning the wings of a griffin with fire is! May buy it, would like to support this kind of game.

When I played this game, I thought of an easier Dark Souls.

What this game reminds me of more then anything is Dark Souls. That steep learning curve is there to make monsters feel unpredictable and make the player feel as inexperienced as the character. I'm going to buy it because its games like this and Dark Souls that might just bring back creative hard core gaming.

Was expecting a higher score from the clips I've seen. The magic combat effects especially look absolutely stunning and it 'appears' to be a brighter palette version of Dark Souls with knobs on. Definitely giving this a run.
