Cheats 7. Credits HOW IT ALL HAPPENED Crash is relaxing on the beach as Cortex is thinking of a plan to capture crash in his lab. Aku Aku can feel the danger and says that the fight between the good and evil needs to be done. So, he sets up a contest. Cortex, Tiny, Dingodole, Koala Kong, Rilla Roo, and NBrio need to be on the evil team and ONLY crash and Coco on the good team? Aku Aku decides it is not fair for Crash and Coco and decides to move Tiny and Dingodile to the good team. And next, the contest begins! Â“A series of minigames are held for you to win. You get a trophy, gem, and crystal from the games. Beat all 28 minigames and four bosses; Papu Papu, Bearminator, Komodo Joe and Moe, and Nitrous Oxide. The first person to win everything gets to decide whoÂ’s better; the evil team or the good teamÂ” says Aku Aku. And now, the real contest begins! THE CONTROLS There are different controls to use in each kind of minigames, so here are the controls. BALLISTIX O= Hold Ball(let go to throw the ball) = Kick Ball Triangle= Extra Kick Start= Pause D-Pad= Move Machine POLAR PANIC D-Pad= Move Polar = Charge = While falling, press repeatedly and push into the arena. Start= Pause POGO PANDIEUNDIUM D-Pad= Move Pogo Stick R1= Hop Faster Start= Pause CRATE CRUSH D-Pad= Move O= Pick up Crate = Spin X= Jump Start= Pause TANK WARS R1 or L1= Rotate Gun D-Pad= Move Tank O= Drop Mine = Fire Gun Start= Pause CRASH DASH R1= Accelerate D-Pad= Move O= Use Missile = Turbo Boost Start= Pause MEDIEAVAL MAYHEM D-Pad= Move = Attack, Shoot Jewel, Hold to Shoot Jewel Farther X= Jump START=Pause WARP ROOM D-Pad= Move = Spin Start=Pause CHARACTERS Taking them off the instruction manual is just too simple, so I just put the characters here. There are four types, so here they go. C R A S H / C O C O *************************** Crash and Coco have never had huge physical power like the muscleheads Tiny and Koala Kong, but their speed is really good. Since they're pretty small, they can be kicked around easy and have little stamina, but their speed is their strength. Also, their spin move is very useful. I'd recommend Crash or Coco only for the experts, since they have a lot more bad points than good. The tank wars levels are a real pain with these two, and they can't throw very well at all. They're also pretty weak for pushing polar bears, although they're pretty fast. Still, this leaves me wanting more... ---------- STRENGTHS: ---------- -Quite agile. -Very useful spin move. -Not clumsy at all. -Powerful Tank Wars moves. ----------- WEAKNESSES: ----------- -Little energy for Ballistix. -No push for Polar Push or Crash Dash. -Can be kicked around easy. -No power at all. -Very short range with Crate Crush. -The Tank Wars moves are slow. C O R T E X / B R I O *************************** Cortex and N. Brio are the quick, light, but strong players. In my opinion, they are the more average characters. They're better than Crash or Coco, but they're still not as good as Tiny or Koala Kong, sadly to say. They don't have huge power as they dealt with magic and machines in the previous titles, but they aren't clumsy at all and they can push quite a little bit. They are fast, although not as fast as Crash or Coco. I'd recommend Cortex or N. Brio for new players. Only problem is that at times, they don't have that much power, and the Tank Wars shot isn't as good as it seems. ---------- STRENGTHS: ---------- -Agile enough. -Not too clumsy. -Can pack a real push. -Really long range with Crate Crush. -A very fast Tank Wars move. ----------- WEAKNESSES: ----------- -Can still be pushed off easy in Crash Dash. -The Tank Wars shot is weak. -Still not very much power. T I N Y / K O N G *************************** Tiny and Kong are my personal favorites. Despite not having great speed, it doesn't really get any better than these two. They simply rule with their great power. They pack extremely powerful pushes, punches, and are very hard to move around with their great power in Crash Dash. They also have an extremely poweful Tank Wars shot and lots of Ballistix energy. Unfortunately though, they lack speed and are pretty clumsy... beginners should definitely take the not so tiny Tiny or the king Kong. They pretty much excel at every single kind of level they enter, seriously. ---------- STRENGTHS: ---------- -Very far throw with Crate Crush. -Very powerful push. -Can shoot two kicks with Ballistix energy. -Very hard to push off the edge of the Crash Dash arenas. -Their kicks are very powerful. -Extremely powerful Tank Wars blast. -Can push in Crash Dash really well. ----------- WEAKNESSES: ----------- -A slow shot in Tank Wars. -Can be very clumsy at times. -Since they are big and heavy, they are slow. D I N G O / R O O *************************** Dingo and Rilla Roo really suck, in my opinion. It's not worth the time that it'll take to get 200% completion if you pick one of these two. For one thing, they have only a VERY small bit longer range to throw crates in Crate Crush in. Their energy for Ballistix is low, and they pack a very small push with Crash Dash and Polar Push. Their shots for Tank Wars are very weak too, and they get clumsy at times. Not only that, but Dingo and Roo aren't even that fast! They have little good in any area and are bad just about everywhere. Only pick one of these two if you're an expert. ---------- STRENGTHS: ---------- -Can fire two (weak) shots for Tank Wars! -Not too slow, at all. -Errr... that's about it. ----------- WEAKNESSES: ----------- -Here we go... terrible range. -Their pushes are horrible. -A very weak Tank Wars blow. -Little Ballistix energy. -Clumsy, very clumsy. -Are pushed back very easily. -Pretty much everything. TYPES OF MINIGAMES ========== BALLISTIX: ========== I hate Ballistix. It's my least favorite game of the seven types, as you can probably tell. Each player has a number of points, shown at the top of the screen. As balls that appear go through their goals, they lose points. When they run out of points, they're out, and the last player standing wins. Everyone has a kick that wears off and comes back. Tiny can do two of these and recovers fast, so he's obviously the best. ============ POLAR PANIC: ============ Polar Panic is a pretty simple game. You are on a large platform and have to push your opponents off the platform. Everyone has a different amount of push that they have, and characters may go off the edge sooner if they're clumsy. With , you can push hard, but the bars at the top of the screen indicate how much they can. Tiny has the most, better use him! ================= POGO PANDEMONIUM: ================= Pogo Pandemonium is a very fun game; my fourth favorite of these seven. You are on an 8 by 8 board with 64 squares on it. You must color the squares with your color and then get one of the purple boxes that appear to score points for all of the squares that you have colored. Basically no one is better or worse in this level for all I can tell, although Crash can probably be faster than everyone else. There are lots of things in this level to make it more complex! ============ CRATE CRUSH: ============ This is my personal favorite kind of level. In Crate Crush, everyone has a health bar at the top of the screen. You have to throw crates at your opponents. Tiny can throw the farthest, so take him if you're playing here! For steel crates, you simply throw them, for TNT's, they count down from 3 to 0. Once they reach 0, you take a lot of damage and they're much stronger than steel crates. With NITRO's, you take lots of damage as soon as you touch them. ========== TANK WARS: ========== My third favorite type of level is Tank Wars. In this game, everyone is given a health bar, similar to Crate Crush, and you have to blast everyone to defeat them. The two kinds of attacks are the regular shot and the mine. In the first two levels, the mine explodes along the whole rank and does gigantic damage. In the third, Jungle Fox, they will explode when you hit them. In the final, Swamp Fox, they are just mines. They float along the water and explode when they hit someone. I'd recommend Tiny for power and Dingodile for speed here. =========== CRASH DASH: =========== Crash Dash is a pretty interesting type of level, although it's not as fun to play as other games. You are on a circular track and must race it 10 times to complete it. There are missiles and objects galore that are to be found here, and lots of things to distract you. Also, you can easily be pushed off the edge. Tiny is the best here because he's very hard to be pushed off and he can also push very well. You can also jump in one of the latter levels, Splash Dash. ================ MEDIEVAL MAYHEM: ================ Medieval Mayhem rocks! It is my second favorite kind of level, and it's a good ol' competition for points. There is jumping up for balloons, stealing gems from your opponents to throw them at a bulls-eye target, mashing mushrooms, and getting fire to blow up kegs. Any way you look at it, Medieval Mayhem is a very hard type of game that has lots of obstacles, so you'll definitely have fun with these levels! WALKTHROUGH CRASHBALL Game: Ballistix Time for Trophy, Gem and Crystal: Unlimited Trophy Diffuculty: 7/10 Gem Diffuculty: 9Â½/10 Crystal Diffuculty: 5/10 GETTING THE TROPHY: Wow, for the very first trophy in the game, this is pretty hard. Block the ball from getting in your goal and hit it into your opponents goal straight ahead. Keep repeating this until the top opponent is gone. Let the side opponents defeat each other while avoiding the balls. Once on of the side opponents are done for, you can attack the other side opponent. For the opponents who are already out, a forcefield blocks their goal which pushes the ball away. Hit a ball to towards the side opponent that is outÂ’s goal and it will bounce to the top opponent as the ball will go near your final opponent. This is the easiest way to score on that opponent. Do this and youÂ’ll win. Just win two more times and you get the trophy. GETTING THE GEM: Man, this is hard. YouÂ’ll start out with nine lives and your opponents start out with fifthteen. Again, just block the ball from getting in your goal and hit it into your opponents goal straight ahead. Keep repeating this until the top opponent is gone. Let the side opponents defeat each other while avoiding the balls. Once on of the side opponents are done for, you can attack the other side opponent. For the opponents who are already out, a forcefield blocks their goal which pushes the ball away. Hit a ball to towards the side opponent that is outÂ’s goal and it will bounce to the top opponent as the ball will go near your final opponent. This is the easiest way to score on that opponent. Do this and youÂ’ll win the gem. GETTING THE CRYSTAL: Finally, you get to have a break. You just have to win once without using the extra kick. This is actually really easy because you normally donÂ’t even have to use the extra kick. So, just block the ball from getting in your goal and hit it into your opponents goal straight ahead. Keep repeating this until the top opponent is gone. Let the side opponents defeat each other while avoiding the balls. Once on of the side opponents are done for, you can attack the other side opponent. For the opponents who are already out, a forcefield blocks their goal which pushes the ball away. Hit a ball to towards the side opponent that is outÂ’s goal and it will bounce to the top opponent as the ball will go near your final opponent. This is the easiest way to score on that opponent. Do this and youÂ’ll win without the extra kick to be awarded the crystal. POLAR PANIC Game: Polar Push Trophy Time: 1:30 Gem Time: 00:30 Crystal Time: 1:30 Trophy Diffuculty: 3Â½/10 Gem Diffuculty: 6/10 Crystal Diffuculty: 8/10 GETTING THE TROPHY: Ok, to start off try to knock off the lightest opponent. When the moving spaceship stays still, run under it to turn tiny, get lightning, a weight or turn giant. When you are small, you are super-fast, but thereÂ’s no reason to be small. While being big, try to knock off the players, especially the big ones. If you get lightning, donÂ’t let the other players touch you. Whoever has the lightning when the ticking stops, shocks everybody and doesnÂ’t allow them to move. Keep the lightning to shock your opponents and knock them off, the big ones first. If you get the weight, charge into somebody to give them the weight. Whoever has the weight when the tick stops, gets crushed! Using these weapons is the way to victory. You just need three wins to get the trophy. GETTING THE GEM: Man, this is pretty hard. You have thirty seconds to knock off everyone. Immediately knock the lightest player off and get a powerup. If itÂ’s a weight, pass the weight to the heaviest opponent. Next, do full charges to knock the medium-weight opponent. If time hasnÂ’t ran out yet after the medium-opponent is off, you get the gem. GETTING THE CRYSTAL: Watch out for the mini-spaceship; it throws lightning at the ice! Knock off the lightest opponent off while avoiding the lightning. By then, the spaceship should have a purple light coming out. Ride into that light to get a powerup. The powerups are the way to win. One win, and you have the crystal! POGO PAINTER Game: Pogo Pandieundieum Trophy Time: 1:00 Gem Time: 1:30 Crystal Time: 00:40 Trophy Difficulty: 5Â½/10 Gem Difficulty: 8 Â½ /10 Crystal Difficulty: 7/10 GETTING THE TROPHY: Not that hard, hop around avoiding the mushrooms. Wherever you hop, that square becomes your color. After coloring some squares, grab one of the purple boxes to turn your squares into points. Have the most points when time runs out to winÂ… not! Win twice more for the trophy. GETTING THE GEM: First person to decrease their score to zero gets the gem. You have 80 points to lose and your opponents only need to lose 60. Still pretty easy, get giant boxes of your color then hit a box. Once your score is down to 20 or less, make a rectangle of 20 or less squares to decrease your points to 0, which gets you the gem. GETTING THE CRYSTAL: Cheese, this is so easy. Just win without hitting any mushrooms. Hop around avoiding the mushrooms. Wherever you hop, that square becomes your color. After coloring some squares, grab one of the purple boxes to turn your squares into points. Have the most points when time runs out to win. JUNGLE BASH Game: Crate Crush Trophy Time: 1:30 Gem Time: 00:40 Crystal Time: 1:05 Trophy Difficulty: 3/10 Gem Difficulty: 5/10 Crystal Difficulty: 6Â½/10 GETTING THE TROPHY: The trophy in Jungle Bash is really easy to obtain and is really fun. By the way, if you get low on health, find some wumpa fruit to fill your health bar. When you start, pick up the closest crate and throw it at the heaviest opponent. Next, throw a TNT at the heaviest opponent. Defeat the heaviest opponent and throw a TNT at the lightest opponent. This will take half of his health, so throw an iron crate to take his health down low. Pick up another TNT and throw it at the medium-weight. This will take his health down a bit, so throw three iron crates at the medium weight while avoiding the light opponent. Pick up another TNT and throw it at the medium weight to take him out. While fighting the medium-weight, donÂ’t let the light-weight get any health. This will force him to have his health low once the medium weight faints. One more TNT at the light-weight and you got one win. Two more wins and you have the trophy! GETTING THE GEM: This gem is pretty easy to obtain. You have forty seconds to defeat everybody. Remember, defeat the heaviest first, lightest second and medium-weight last. Always use TNTs to throw at your opponents and make sure you get some wumpas when your health is low. If there are no TNTs on the screen, use the iron crates. After a while, spin a crate into an opponent. While the opponent is flashing, donÂ’t attack; it wonÂ’t do damage. When theyÂ’re done flashing, spin them! This is a cool way to win and is a bit quicker but is not official. One win withinÂ’ 40 seconds and you have the gem! GETTING THE CRYSTAL: This crystal is just a bit hard to obtain. You see that house over towards the front? An idol lives in that house and hears all that racket going on outside. He gets mad and starts throwing nitros everywhere. He normally aims his nitros where you are. The idol gets really mad when thirty seconds are left and heÂ’ll start throwing nitros faster and throws more onto the arena. Just treat this level like a normal level and pretend that the nitros were already there. Just get one win without losing all your health and the crystal is yours. PAPU PUMMEL Game: Crate Crush Key Time: Unlimited Boss: Papu Papu Health: 4 Key Difficulty: 7Â½/10 GETTING THE KEY: Papu Papu will slam his POLEagainst the ground to start the fight off. This makes three fire panels flow down the screen. DonÂ’t touch them or youÂ’ll get hurt. Jump over the fire panels in your way and Papu Papu will send a Fake Crash after you. The Fake Crash will pick up a box and throw it at you. Avoid the box throws and either throw a box at the Fake Crash minion or spin the Fake Crash. This defeats the minion and Papu will summon another Fake Crash. Defeat it the same way as before and PapuÂ’s fire shield will disappear. HeÂ’ll start laughing at you. Pick up a TNT Crate and throw it at Papu to injure him. HeÂ’ll slam the ground with his pole twice this time and six fire panels come down the screen. Jump over them and then another six panels come down the screen. Jump over those panels to make Papu summon two Fake Crashes. Spin both of them and heÂ’ll summon two more. Spin them and his shield goes off again. This time, throw an iron crate at him. HeÂ’ll hit the ground three times now and fire panels will flow everywhere. Jump over a panel and nine more chase you. Jump over another one to make Papu throw nine more panels. Jump over a panel and Papu summons three Fake Crashes to get you. Spin all three and heÂ’ll summon six Fake Crashes. Spin them and he summons nine Fake Crashes. Spin all nine and his shield goes off once more. Throw another TNT at him. HeÂ’ll slam the ground one more time and the vibration makes a boulder fall on Papu, crushing him, allowing you to win. When you return to the warp room youÂ’ll be on the path to the second warp room. Go back, out of the path and enter the path to the right of the warp room path. Walk up this path and press X on the dot. Press square when your taken to the next screen and type in your name. Click Â“DONEÂ” and youÂ’ll save. Now exit the save path and enter the path to the left. Press X at the end to transport to warp room two! Beach Ball COMING SOON!
