It was a bit of a surprise back at E3 when Konami announced their plans to radically expand on the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sub-franchise. Few people realized the game had been such a hit. And now we're getting word that it's expanding even more as Konami quietly unveils a new platform for the previously console-only action game.
On Twitter earlier today, Lords of Shadow producer David Cox made the announcement saying, "That's right! Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is coming to PC! #bypopulardemand."
Unfortunately, he went on to comment that they just weren't able to make a case for a Wii U version. Though he added to "never say never" on that particular subject.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is currently headed for release on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 in 2013.
