Sony's finally discontinued the PSone. Here's a look at the games that defined the 32-bit era

#1 - Metal Gear Solid
Solid Snake's PSone adventure was a milestone in gaming. Kick-starting the now done-to-death stealth-'em-up genre, Hideo Kojima's masterpiece was intelligent, exciting and technically astounding. The long list of memorable moments - like having to switch to the second joypad port to avoid having your mind read - made sure that once you played MGS, you never, ever forgot it.

So there it is - a collection of truly unforgettable titles. And with the PS2's backwards compatibility and the promise that the PS3 and even the PSP will soon be playing the games too, it doesn't look like the PSone is going anywhere just yet...
