Epic Games' Bulletstorm trailer from Gamescom is back, though this time it’s got some commentary from Producer Tanya Jessen. The trailer serves as a reveal for the enormous Heckaton, a legendary monster that makes Gears of Wars’ Riftworm look tame in comparison. The trailer also shows off Trischka, a hard as nails, bad-ass chick in a game full of hard as nails bad-ass dudes. There are also some mutants called Burnouts, who sport pus filled oozing sores as their only weak point. Lovely.

Our favorite line has to be Tanya mentioning that the artist formerly known as CliffyB had wanted to include a four barreled shotgun in Unreal tournament but got denied. Surely its inclusion in Bulletstorm will be an artistic catharsis for Dude Huge, or to translate that into Bulletstorm’s vernacular, “It's gonna be Goddamn shitting ass sweet bro!” *chest bump*

At first I wasn't so interested in another bland, generic Xbox FPS, but this trailer made it look really good and really fun. Now I just need to get an Xbox.

When I read the article on this in GameInformer, my first reaction was something like, "Ugh, look, another stupid me-too FPS with hyperactive level design and stupid characters who look like rejects from a late-90s Genesis title!". After seeing the trailer, aside from being worried at the linearity (what's the point of pulling the bus down to make a bridge? Seriously? Is that what passes for puzzles here?) and the horrible 'burning car' walls (what is this? 2001?), the action looks pretty awesome. I wish they wouldn't have to make their girl characters so unrealistic, but oh well. Grayson reminds me of Duke Nukem somehow. In fact, the whole game looks like Duke Nukem and Serious Sam and BLACK and Unreal had an orgy and somehow made a baby.

Another GR vid that has no sound! Why is GR the only site around the web that constantly has issues with it's players? Seriously, I donb't see why it happens to me here and only here in this day and age. It's something a technophobe like myself can manage to do for myself so how come GR is always having these problems to a much higher extent than anyone else?

This game looks ridiculous? i mean its just so over the top and beyond belief! a four barrelled shotgun? why would you need 4 barrells? i for one will not be getting this as. . . . . . . .ha ha ha , i'm just f****** wiv ya, this looks amazing, bring on the Combo kills baby!!!!

This game looked really generic, the first time that I read about it in Gameinformer, but with each video demo that's released it keeps looking better and better. I'm pretty excited for Bulletstorm, now.

unfortunately they already said no co-op, said it would mess with the story. nonetheless this looks AMAZING.

I'm going to buy this game, it's just epic looking all over; I hope they'll be co-op though. Also I hate "Cliffy" he's such a tool so i'm sad that if I buy this game it going to his obscenely large wallet...
