Blazing Angels footage takes off

Check out tilt controls in action in our action-packed WWII flight sim footage

After hitting both Xbox consoles and the PC, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of World War II will tear its way onto the PlayStation 3 shortly after the console launches this week. Normally, a port of a game that came out in March wouldn't get us excited, but Blazing Angels will be the first game to make full use of the Sixaxis pad's tilt controls - meaning you'll be able to steer planes just by moving the controller.

We've given the new controls a try in the game's action-packed mission over Pearl Harbor, and we found that they work surprisingly well. To prove it, we took footage of GamesRadar's video editor, Joe McNeilly, outmaneuvering Zeroes and punching holes in bombers using only the tilt controls.  To check it out for yourself, just hit the Movies tab above. While you're at it, check out the new screens by hitting the Images tab as well.
