BioShock Infinite demo video airs tomorrow

Upcoming video to feature protagonist battling in a crumbling sky city

Irrational Games will be airing a video demo for BioShock Infinite on September 21, 2010 at 9:00 am (PDT). The video will be exclusive to www.Xbox.com and Xbox LIVE for 24 hours before it is posted on BioShockInfinite.com on September 22. The video will show the game’s protagonist battling through a crumbling sky city. Here’s the official tease for the upcoming video from Irrational Games:

The BioShock Infinite demo video opens with the game's protagonist, former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, battling through the streets of Columbia, a crumbling city in the sky. He has come to rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious young woman imprisoned there since childhood. As DeWitt and Elizabeth merge their powers in a desperate bid to escape the city, viewers will witness intense indoor and outdoor battles, new weapons and abilities, and dangerous new enemies including Elizabeth's terrifying captor.

BioShock Infinite is scheduled to release in 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. In the meantime, you can check out the first teaser for the game below.

Hmm...you know if this was on PlayStation first I might have actually watched it there. It would be nice to turn on my PS3 for reasons other than watching a Bluray. Though I would probably give up since I would have to do a system update, install that system update, update the install then download the video, update the video player, then update the video itself. By that time it would have been live everywhere else. So I would still watch it on Xbox or of course GamesRadar.

i hate it when playstation fanboys hate on microsoft about exclusivities but dont complain when sony does the same thing. but it is stupid how they are doing a 24 hour exclusive cause thats a waste of money. all timed exclusives are dumb as hell and both microsft and sony have done them before.

@Lemurian Thanks for the comment! It's not like the original won multiple awards or has one of the highest Metacritic averages ever. Don't worry though Medal of Honour will be out soon enough so you can get back to shooting terrorists.

since xboxrulez isnt here to defend microsoft i will. they are business who after wii took away most game sales had a good reason to increase price so they could still make money with less fanbase because we all know alot of people play halo and are also willing to pay fees they dont have to you could get most basic plan. if alot of people do something like that then most likely some form of change will be made.

Just for the record. You don't have to buy a stupid avatar item. Microsoft doesn't compel you to buy their shit. You make a choice when you pay for that year subscription. Microsoft tells you what to expect from the service and you accept when you pay for it. You're just victimizing yourself, db1331. The best way to say "We're not gonna take it" is to not play Ratt and leave it as a message to MS - Gaming Division HQ but to stop paying for their shoddy service altogether. I agree with McNeely though, the only thing keeping MS alive is the game franchises they wield.

So true Johnny. The gaming industry would be so much better without MS and Xbox. I don't understand how after so many red-ringed consoles and major releases on unreadable discs, people still act like MS is doing them a favor by taking their money. They are fleecing people for virtual hats for their avatars, and increasing the cost of playing your games over the internet connection you already pay for. How about instead of buying the rights to show a demo video on your website one whole day before anyone else, you spend that money doing some QA testing on your biggest release of the year so you don't end up selling your customers $60 coasters?

Defitely a waste of money, there is little value to having a video up 1 day prior to anywhere else when the game is 2 years away. And to think they are increasing the cost of xbox live. I have had enough with M$. 4 dead consoles is enough, if Reach wasn't on it I would be playing my playstation much more.
